Which is faster, accelerating in Sport mode, in D, or in manual shifting at lower rmp? I have heard these engines start to lose power over 4k rmps. While sport mode hits almost 5k. Some people argue that D is faster than Sport, coz it shifts at a lil bit lower rmp, around 4.5k instead of 4.8 in sport? And is there even a difference in D or S, when you accelerate in full kick down? I have also heard that kickdown is still kickdown, 100% acceleration doesn't matter if its on D or S?

Fastest in my opinion is manual but shifting early as it takes a second to change, if you get it right it’s the quickest way to accelerate? Sport mode is good when on country roads as it’s responsive when your moving

But it’s about 8.6 secs in sport mode - 10.8 secs is disappointing for this tank!

I thought that aswell, I do also think I need a new manifold and I’ve heard that can affect performance and if it had a full service and possibly an gearbox service it may well be a bit quicker but it’s a car which has been serviced really well it’s whole life, due a service in a couple of months
