The coupe part is to make it look more sporty and less soccer mom ish. As for the engine, it’s no different that having a sedan that’s really fast(M5). Lastly, you have the height of an SUV and a sizable trunk. As stated in the video, that trunk is big other than height. Even with the lower height in the rear, I can’t think of to many times you would miss it. I promise you most people with normal SUV’s rarely ever have something in the back that’s utilizing the height to the max. The X6 trunk is really wide as it’s a wide car. Don’t fool yourself and thing it’s the same size as the 4 series grand coupe. It’s much wider and even taller than that. The. t is just more sexy an d youthful looking and dares you to step outside the box.

Actually the m50d engine is one of the most reliable 3.0l diesel engine that bmw makes ( especially the prrevious m50d with 3 turbos)

@Bill olu Compton You clearly haven't been in any of the two cars. First of all, how will the Range Rover achieve turbo lag with a supercharger🤣. Secondly because of the supercharger the Range Rover is much more responsive. Also the suspension is much softer and better over bumps. Lastly, you are clearly assuming the Range Rover handles better, because you look at its size. However, because of the clever suspension you actually get oversteer and it handles very wll. Its also way better on offroad, I also like the interior and exterior more, and it isnt slow at all. If you go for the svr, the fastest Range Rover it does 0-100 in 4 seconds and 290 km/h. Which is mega fast sure it compares to the X5M which does it in 3.7 however I dont care if its 0.3 seconds faster they are both the fastest suvs.

@Bill olu Compton Yea but your in a different price class probably. The Sport I drove cornered just aswell as the X6 m50i I drove. I drove the 525 HP v8. I ended up buying the SVR, well ordering, and that thing steers so well and controls its weight. I have to say it feels nothing like you are gonna tip over, it had so little body role. But the SVR has very clever suspension and is much stiffer. So maybe you are right, least powerful one I have driven is the 525 HP one and that one cornered quite good.

BMW are only intetested in car sales and if you buy one, expect higher service bills as they get older.

@@mjames2117 there is no excuse for such behavior.. It is disgusting hypocrisy because BMW treat BMW owners differently in Germany!! And i think that i 'm no less worth just because i'm not German!

@@markuswolf7384 If you have paid 25,000 in such a short time for standard servicing repairs then you probably have no legal standing, BUT, I would raise an official Formal Complaint with BMW about that huge amount. I would expect all or part of that to be taken off price of a new car as a gesture of goodwill. Also inform BMW which dealerships are involved and any mis diagnosis you may consider.. good luck.. tell them you WILL advise the press and follow up if no result.

You are right that i have no legal stand because of such high cost of maintenance but i cannot stand that i never had replacement vehicle during the time my car was in service because it's hypocrisy. In Germany in official BMW dealership you always get replacement vehicle when your car is on service. Just because i'm not german and i don't live in Germany BMW treat me different and that double standard is disgusting for me! Also i don't understand how can BMW say that my car is worthless and that they don't want to take my car in account for new one. And yes i wrote an open letter to BMW AG Ceo and they answered me today that they will look into my case. BMW 7 series is amazing vehicle but BMW should not tolerate double standards. I'm not less worth just because i'm not German! Thank you for good wishes and i really hope that official BMW dealership in my country will change!
