in this video we go over what to look for when buying a used bmw f36 or 4 series now this car is fitted with the b47 engine which is a 2.0 Diesel engine producing 190bhp its fitted with the ZFH8 speed gearbox which gives really good MPG based on the fact it changes gear alot quicker BUT dont estimate this beast when you want it to wake up it will wake up and go once you override the sport setting now that all being said bmws dynamic steering and suspension setup which is all electronic really changes this car so in this video we go over what you need to look for and the things most relevant for this car at the moment

Nice review, thanks. I had been looking at a 2017 model in Java Green, its a 435d Gran Coupe, did that come as standard with the HK sound system and also the keyless system ? I do not like Keyless at all, is there anyway to get it amended so that it does not transmit constantly and only when the key moves like the newer models can now do ?I If not i will fit a Ghost system but i would rather have the keyless system made safer. A small favour though on the next videos, if you are talking with the bonnet up and the engine running........... move a way a bit as i could hardly hear you talking about the dpf etc.

its a diesel. thats what diesels do, they just stay on. however, i agree its annoying. why does a diesel have to run for a thousand years to operate correctly??!?! he even warns of short drives... how short is too short?!?!?!

Just finished paying for my bmw 120d 2011 been brilliant so got another loan to trade in found 2014 bmw 420 msport has lots of m4 parts fitted and looks very clean it’s from a garage that has lots of good cars Wants 19 grand fir it in Watford exclusive auto do you think I’ll get 4 grand for my coupe and Iv 14 cash. Should I know anything more

chains dont break but tensioners are plastic so after 60k miles should replace them/ upgrade. will cost about 300 but the engines are bulletproof

After looking at the new 4 series coming out, purchasing a used f36 is probly the best option.

Mate would you consider e92 series. Im about to replace chain tensioner now. Looks like simple job. Dont know really shall I prime it.. anyway. The series would be really helpfull

Ive seen some in salvage for sale with just minor front end damage the parts are big money to repair Such a pretty car love that 8 speed box always bang in the power range

Yeah mate the power is immense and that gearbox shifts so fucking well and fast like a dsg box I’m so happy with this though mate trust me I’m glad bmw bought the zf company

My pal had a 320 msport f30 with the 8 speed as a courtesy car while he was having some work done on his beemer it was wicked drove lovely that 8 speed box is pukka One of me pals said to thank you for the recall advice mate hes got his e60 booked in next month for the recals ✌👍

No problem mate it’s cushti mate mine didn’t need anything doing I was in and out within 2 mins they checked it mine was free of corrosion what they said was it only affects cars with all the modules in the boot and the ones with diamond key

Oh no no friend trust me this is not what you do These cars are highly equipped and you need proper tools to check these cars and scanners not your average £50 scanner is going to be able to diagnose this car and tell you it’s ok trust me

No it’s not x drive is actually much much better as power is being delivered to all wheels rather the. 2 so you don’t get uneven wear like the rear wheel drive versions

Great car but buy the petrol, diesel is not the same as it sounds nasty, smelle bad and you will probably get problems with the oxygen sensors.

Hell no they are NOT bmw make 6 cylinder engines. 4 cylinder engines are made in the U.K. and are all junk bmw are known for 6 cylinder NOT 4 cylinder engines

Even more unreliable mate the petrol 2.0 engines are a complete Disaster I have done videos on them they are the N42 and N46 engines

How many MPG does this particular do? I have one just like this 420D XDrive 66 plate and it’s struggling to reach 33mpg which I find very very low. Mine is EXACTLY the same as this one, same trim, rim size etc. Does anyone know what mpg it would average combined?
