Canada's economy is sick because our former economic strength was predicated on low rates and a hot housing market domestically. Now we're feeling the inevitable economic hangover. Expect this pain to continue until land prices fall, and the cost of doing business gets cheaper.

PC leader Pierre Poilievre is one the main problem as he owns multiple properties and the greed causing unfordable housing. I will not vote for him unless I'm very rich as his policy will help the very rich not the average middle class or low income folks.

Brendon has too many verbal ticks, "uh" is 90% of what he says. Wage growth is baked in because of contracts that have been signed in response to previous inflation. Wage growth has not caught up to inflation yet, every worker today is still poorer than he was in 2021. Wages have also increased because the government has added so many public sector jobs. Too many, basically a workfare program that current taxation cannot afford, in an attempt to make the economy of Canada look better than it actually is. We are borrowing against our future right now, to try to fund our current lifestyles, without addressing the fundamental private sector employment shortfalls. Canada currently has a poor industrial base. Gifted with resources we refuse to exploit.
