I think to date this is the single greatest performance ever seen in American Idol

i dont care what anyone says, THAT was unreal....he was SPOT on with his vocals and to do that song with no band took massive balls. I feel like that performance right there, was the best of the season by ANYONE including carrie....that was ridiculously good.

Bo Bice did something with this song that I've never heard Carrie Underwood do. He sang acapella. All you hear is his voice. The lighting and imagery is perfect.

Bo Bice is definitely one of the most unappreciated Idol contestants ever.

Just pure, unadulterated talent. While it was obvious who was going to win, Bo had my vote.

This is a beautiful song sung by a beautiful man. I never get tired of listening to this.

For me he's the reason why Chris Daughtry and David Cook had courage to try American Idol. for the first 3 seasons I don't remember any rock artist trying out and doing as good as he is. And I also remember Chris and David mentioning they review Bo's performances before auditioning, that's something.

Those vocals.. I remember watching this live on TV.. recorded this performance on a VHS tape.. kept watching it over and over and over.. oh my word.. this takes SKILL and confidence to take the stage and JUST SING.

Nobody on the current season would have the gall stones to try and pull this off. Would like to see one of them try but it is the boldest move one could ever do. I used to go out with Bo's Cousin in Alabama. 14 years ago Bo snuck me in backstage in his Equipment trailer on the way to the Battle of the Bands in Huntsville,AL. He has been singing for a long long time.

He did this song without the band because they couldn't find the music they needed. Out of all his performance's this is the best ever. And out of all the ones I have watched this is the best ever. No other performer has moved me when I first watched it.

wow I had forgotten about this performance, that was amazing.

I just finished watching the final 12 guys for AI7. None of them are in the same hemisphere as Bo. He's a great singer and he's got guts. Great performance.

One of the most special performaces on AI. He was risky, and he totally succeeded.

My favorite performance by him and the reason he didn't use the band was they could not find the music for this song. When he was asked if he is sure on doing this without he said yes. If people think a band was used why don't we hear anything but his voice. Made me almost cry the first time seeing it live on tv and still does. And I like how Simon said "You may have just put 45 musicians out of work.
