bo's swing looks like it incorporates pitching mechanics too. he's standing on one leg and swinging that left leg down more like a pitcher than a hitter.

low walk rate is the only hole right now but makes up for it by a hard high contact rate.

Unless he is sitting something specific, looks like he launches his barrel directly behind the ball which allows him to drive fastballs the other way and pull off speed. And his separation is phenomenal, he gets everything out of his body when he is dialed in.

It’s truly amazing being a Blue Jays fan and watching this and many of our other players every night. When we heat it up this year look out second half is our time!!!!

That's laughable... He asked: "What's changed (between Sept 2022 and now)?" Even a blind cow could see all the subtle and not-so-subtle changes Bo made. Are you kidding me?! 1 - His lead foot, for one. Heal is way up, cocked and weight shifted back and loaded. 1a - Toe is also pointing back a bit. 2 - Back elbow on a greater angle. Hands lower. 3 - Bat resting angle more forward. Lead elbow on closer to 90 degrees. For starters... He can't see that?! Geez...

I've played baseball, I'm Canadian who's favorite sport has always been baseball....I can not explain it to you sir. That or war lol I think the best new stat is whip. I don't look at anything on a pitcher accept whip, era and so/9

Basically an OPS equivalent stat where 100 is the MLB average which means adjusting for park factors like elevation/yard size etc to put everyone on the same playing field.

All you need to know is that 100 is league average, higher is better. Same goes for any stat ending in +

The fact that he can do ALL of these and be an even BETTER hitter is remarkable. You need to go find another sport to analyze.
