I haven’t played omori and don’t think I ever will because it will ruin this song for me. At least this part. People acting like this is said yet it sounds so hopeful. In my head, this sounds like it’d play at the end as the character looks on into the sunset, victorious after a hard battle. Despite the losses, he rises. So yeah, tldr this part of the song is really cool and reminds me of a hopeful feeling.
