I see this message under every upcoming QB talent. But in reality just a few of them stay as 1st choice QB after 3 years.
@wdtipvr18886 ай бұрын
@@95Kyo thanks captain obvious 🙄 that's because of injuries and going to bad teams with horrible coaches and coordinators. But there are many that rise up and ball out. My opinion this will be one of them. Not just because how how much this kid works and has improved in the last 2 seasons. The fact he is not touted to be a very high pick. He can actually go to a decent team that has good weapons and coaches. Which will help him succeed. He's light years better than Brock Purdy and look what he's doing in SF. Nix might be a mid to late first rounder. What if he went to the Vikings 🤔🤔 or a team like that. Success will join him.

I think Bo will be the steal of the draft! His numbers are IDENTICAL to the 'highly-touted' CW over the past two years. In fact, Bo had a better year in 2023 than CW. I would love the Bears to trade out of the first pick for a kings ransom and draft Bo later in 1st or early 2nd round.

His ability to hit speedy receivers in stride is pretty damn amazing considering most of the time he’s throwing off his back foot or not fully stepping into his throws. If he cleans up his hip motions and overall mechanics, he’ll be a good QB in the league.

People who say " he's a check down qb" DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE GAME. That's what a good QB does. Take whats given, advance down the field. The short passing game is GOOD FOOTBALL , and it opens up lower percentage down field throws. You'd have to be an idiot to not take an easy 8-20 yd throw ,or first down ,in favor of a " highlight reel"play. If its there ? Sure , go for it. But if you're living on that , youll lose football games.

@ashraider19977 ай бұрын
Its really hard to evaluate him tbh. He has really good mechanics for sure and can definitely throw the ball downfield and can run as well but the thing that worries is when watching these highlights how good that O line is up front and how Nix had a clean pocket for days and how wide open his receivers because ya know they dont play Defense in the Pac 12 and what it makes ever harder to evaluate him is the fact that he struggled in the SEC but is thriving the Pac 12 but damn bro still you cant deny his mechanics and the arm talent and mobility are all there. Gonna be interesting to see how his career pans out.
@lucio9897 ай бұрын
He was in the sec west and had a bad o line and bad receivers. He still won and took care of the ball. He has two of the top 4 streaks in sec history without an interception. He has always been able to run and avoid sacks as well. He is a great college player and could be mahomesesque in the right nfl system.
@jonnyhideroa66627 ай бұрын
Sure the O Line helps but Regardless Nix makes decisions and gets rid of the ball so quick that just the O Line is not why he is as good as he is. And #2 Heisman Candidate, Jayden Daniel's, started in the PAC 12 and transferred to the SEC to thrive, so I don't believe your argument of moving conferences is valid.
@jmoney18847 ай бұрын
Yeah I hate when people bring up his auburn stint because he was set up for complete failure on that team. He was the only reason auburn was even relevant when he was there and since he’s left they’ve been horrible. While he was there he had an awful oline and receivers while playing in the sec and he still managed to win auburn a lot of games. Hes always been underrated.

Right and what’s the weak part of the Oregon team? There are no weaknesses, the team is BUILT! If they pulled Bo in the middle of the second quarter of every game they’d still have 1 loss. If they leaned on the running game, screens and limited Bo to 15 passes per game Oregon would have no losses. Oregon lost to Washington trying to have Bo out duel Penix jr. Those 2 passing plays on 4th down that Bo didn’t complete while the guy(Penix) on the other side was completing bomb after bomb on 3rd and a mile.

At this point if people don't get that the early check downs are a game plan like the run to open the deep passing then forget them. Most national guys are turning off the games in blue outs and are not seeing the progression down field... also claiming yac has nothing to do with QB accuracy is dumb. If a QB is always making poor throws guys wouldn't be able to run after the catch. These passes are accurate and allowing guys to run after the catch because they are hitting them in stride.
