In our last project, students mastered the use of multimeters to measure voltage, resistance, and amperage, along with performing basic calculations. Now, we introduce the first project in our troubleshooting series: the Basic Troubleshooting Board. This project is designed to teach fundamental troubleshooting procedures using simple DC circuits. Students will learn to identify negative and positive potentials at each terminal connection in a normal circuit. Then, we introduce faults to show how voltage readings are affected. This hands-on experience prepares students for real-world aircraft circuit troubleshooting in our next project board.
