This seems like a game you would make for a skit

This looks like it's from the same designers as the dairy farm game.

All I saw was ramen fury and I was like "spicy ramen" I cannot see and I need glasses to see the words *board game*

I'm hesitant to play board games based around food. Just looking at the game makes me so hungry xD Thank you enduring the tantalizing torture on our behalf!

I laughed when I saw this pop up in my inbox and knew I needed to watch it, and I'd say it's pretty on the nose. This game sells a lot at the shop I work at and I think it's _because_ it's overly light and very friendly for non-gaming families getting into board games (many of whom wanted it after trying it out at the board game bar upstairs). I'd consider it a cute and aesthetically pleasing gateway card game, like Sushi Go. I frequently do find myself citing that my favorite thing about it is the packaging, though.

This game seems like it would be more fun with house rules, like you can regain a spoon by using an action or to flip a bowl you need a garnish on top to finish it. It's got great potential

It's like someone saw your cow video and thought that would be a perfect base for a ramen game.

I honestly thought this was going to be a "Lets try all Ramen in my store" Video. And immediatley thought the 8:53 was 8 hour and 53 minutes of video... lol.

It's a great game for families. (We actually just played again last night!) It's simple enough for a kid to understand and strategize and the fun can come from different family members dumping on each other or 'getting revenge' for another family member.

The review is pretty accurate. My sister and I can play this for hours. Also, in order to avoid the box being too crammed, I kept the little cardboard thingy where the spoon tokens came, and every time I put it back, just fit the tokens into the ahem, cardboard thingy.

One of my fav games was super good surpisingly Oh😅 well i still like it and love playing multiple games and thinkmits pretty interactive without having to be hard to new players and getting them wanting to come to tabletop club meet😁

got this game for Xmas, its very similar to sushi go, so if you have a group of friends that like those types of foods, both are good to play on a game night before jumping into your big game for the night. I do agree that it's very simplistic. i played one round and immediately saw the winning strategy for max points (3 Full Beef w/ proteins or 3 Full Soy w/ veggies or a 2:1 combination of the two) and was able to build those with very little issue. just use your spoons to get rid of any undesirable ingredients people place on your bowls. That kinda killed it for me, being able to score max points in my very first game, like there's no real replayability for me now.

Of course the 69th boardgame you review is about ramen. 'Tis only natural to associate such a glorious number with a delicious meal.

Just played this the first time with some family. Learned the rules in the first game and then won the second in a way that had everyone fuming. I was able to get 4 unique beefs early on but didnt have the beef flavor, so i started restocking like crazy. After 2 turns i had gotten a beef flavor and a bunch nori and peppers and used them. Then i saw that the deck was getting low. So I ate my bowl and restocked until the deck was empty and the game was over. They didnt have time to build their bowls.

So, just from the title I'm expecting ProZD will gush over this, seeing as it combines two of his major interests.

I am required by law to say nice.

This looks like it'd be a fun party game.

I played this for the first time the other night. I actually liked it. It's a pretty easy to learn, but slightly mean, canasta-lite.

If nothing else, it would give me ideas for ramen recipes.

Man I would love to sit down with you and play a game of epic spell wars of the battle wizards duel it mount skullz fire first rule of the game is you have to use your wizard's voice when casting a spell and seeing you do something like Krazztar the bloodomancer would be fantastic

honestly, i feel like the game is too complex for how simple it is. I mean, it might just be that listening to a person list a bunch of abilities is more overwhelming than reading the rules yourself, but about halfway through the video I'd forgotten what you could do on a turn and how those things related to one another. like, I feel like it might seem more interesting if it leaned more into its simplicity, and perhaps highlighted the game's simplicity a bit more in the mechanics. it might be fun to allow more player interaction, instead of always having to spend a spoon to do it. so, what if, instead of having a full list of actions, you just either place ramen from the market in ANY bowl, eat your bowl, or steal from the top of someone else's bowl. personally, I don't think it needs more actions than that, and this might make it even simpler and more quick and compact, but also easier to bust out for just a rapid light-hearted round, and allow a lot more petty squabbling (in a fun way).

Have you tried Ramen Ramen? It's a similar concept that a lot of my friends enjoy, and I think it has a better strategy element.
