Uwajima Transport Ferry connects Yawatahama Port to Beppu and Yawatahama Port to Usuki Port (Oita) with four ferries. This time, we will take a 2 hour and 50 minute cruise from Yawatahama Port to Beppu on board the newly built ship "Reimei Maru" which entered service in June 2022. The other three ships in operation are ``Akebono Maru,'' ``Akatsuki Maru,'' and ``Oita.''
On this trip, we went to Yawatahama, Ehime Prefecture to eat ``Roadside Station Minato: Fisherman's Meal'', Beppu to ``Toyo Tsune Honten: Seafood Chirashi,'' and Kusumi, Oita Prefecture to ``Sie Tanie: Mont Blanc.'' After enjoying a meal there, we stayed at Kurokawa Onsen in Kumamoto Prefecture.
