My husband and I have become big fans of David’s and Ben’s. The episodes including Ben’s mother are wonderful fun to watch! They leave two sons here in New York missing our mothers, and wishing we could have taken ours cruising. We have never been cruising, nor had our mothers in their lifetimes. My mother died seven years ago, after six years lost in dementia. His mother is living, but dementia has captured her as well. Our mothers were glamorous--like Ben’s mother is, and would’ve been just as overjoyed to go cruising. Thank you, David and Ben, for sharing your adventures and myriad meals with us. Your mum is an absolute gem! I’m so glad you were able to do this together. Back in the day, I got to take a river cruise with my father…turns out it was the last big thing we got to do together, as he passed 6 months later. I absolutely cherish those memories.

I was passing a travel agent's and booked a week at Butlins in Bognor Regis for my Mum and I. We had a great time apart from a few niggles. Even after we got home I couldn't think why I went into the travel agents till the following year when she passed away, maybe it was my Dad telling me she be joining him soon and wanted us to have this special time together. Cherish your Mum, maybe take on another cruise. Love the way you split narration between you it gives a balanced review also asking Mum's opinion. Keep cruising.

Appreciate the time with your mum. Mine passed away in 2018 when she was 84 and I would have loved to have taken her on a cruise with us. As we have all learned over these past two years life is short and we need to enjoy it all when we can. Thanks for sharing.

Loved your mom Ben. Being a senior woman myself, I have to wholeheartedly agree with her regarding the technology. While I am able to use my smartphone and my tablet I am not sure how good I would do with information via an app. Seems a little intimidating to me. Enjoy all of your videos with David. I have laughed so much over your videos at times because of your antics. You never fail to make me feel good. Y'all have fun with your mom. You just wake up one day and they're not there anymore.

.... so nice of you to take your mother on a cruise! I noted when you first were exploring your cabin the beds were set up as the twin configuration. As I assume at your age you don't have much of the "romantic time" anymore, you really should try sleeping in twin beds. You will get a much better rest throughout the evening not being bothered by blanket hogs, snoring and being rolled over on. doesn't mean you love each other any less, it just means you're smart enough to get a good night's sleep!

Hi Mum! My mom loved her first cruise and spoke about it for years! You will also remember this for years. Mom has since passed but those memories with her and she in such wonderful health are documented and celebrated by the entire family! Congratulations! This is a gift that will keep on giving!

What a nice choice for your Mum. I've never sailed on Princess, and the decor is very pretty inside the cabin and out. A pretty fruit bowl of fruit ready for you too. The buffet looked great and getting into the cabin right away is nice. Drinks brought to the room included in the package really impresses me too. And a big one for me is that the balcony table is dining height! I have loved dining on my balcony but have wished I had a taller table (RCL, NCL).

Your Mum is lovely and what I love about that ship is that the airbridge resembles the one they have at the Irish Ferries Terminal in Dublin for the Ulysses Cruise Ferry, which they don’t have at Holyhead, although Stena at Holyhead have a very nice waiting area when waiting for the Stena Adventurer Cruise Ferry

Boys - this is the very FIRST video of yours that TOTALLY melted my heart!! Lost both Mum and Dad several years back. Last thing I wanted to do was take Mum to the Broadway showing of "The Lion King"... alas - she had a major stroke just a few weeks before our booked showing and did not make it. Whenever I see family of mine (my husband's and my chosen family - i.e. - you two) sharing your personal joys with your own parental units, it just melts my heart. Bless you both for sharing your excitement with Mamma....as well as US!! My Boo and I would be there with the two of you - AND MOMMA - in a split second, if we could!! xoxo

Thank you, thank you, thank you... for taking me along on your first day on that beautiful ship. Oh my... your mom and I could be friends! It seems like we have a lot in common from what I've seen so far. I thought she was much younger than me from the way you were talking, but I think we're about the same age. She is reacting the same way I will... never been on a cruise either... so I'll be a bit speechless and will gawk around and ooo and aww a lot about things and try to poke my head into all the nooks and crannies and feel a little awkward too. Oh... and yes, 'bathroomitis' is something we all get when we age. Something to look forward to, Ben... and David too. I have decided that hubby and I need to take a cruise on this ship and that it needs to be a full week long one... because that's how long it's going to take me to try each of those gorgeous cakes. Maybe I won't waste precious cake-eating time by eating anything else. Ooo... now there's a lovely thought. I'm lucky that hubby is a bit more "with it" than I am. He has the cell phone. I'm still enjoying my land line. But he goes out and I very seldom do... because of medical junk. I might have to get better at the whole "app" thing though, if I'm going to get to eat any of those cakes.
