Today we board Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas again for a 3 night cruise out of Port Canaveral! We have lunch at Sabor and then Dinner at 150 Central Park.

Do you two have jobs? Yes! We both have full time careers. Brian is a Software Engineer and Kerry is a Graphic Designer.
Is this vlog a paid promotion with the cruise line? No, we have never worked with a cruise line before (I doubt they even know who we are 😂). If that ever changes, we will be sure to let you know in the video.
What are those black pouches around your neck? We use the lanyards to carry some camera equipment, but many cruisers like to wear lanyards to hold their room key card.
What camera do you use? We typically use the DJI Pocket II, however, when we are in the water we use the Go Pro Hero 9, and in Alaska we occasionally used the Nikon P1000 for wildlife shots. What is a GUSS? GUSS is our name for a Towel Animal! It is a childhood memory for Brian that has lived on for years. You can see the home video moment where GUSS was born in Adventure of the Seas Day 6 (We Made the News) and Allure of the Seas Day 3 (Sea Day).
Is that one thing you said serious? Almost certainly not. If you’re new to the channel, we have really dry, sarcastic senses of humor. So if you’re questioning if it’s sarcasm - it probably is.
How do I ask a dinner time question? Leave a comment on any video and let us know it’s supposed to be answered at dinner time. We’re always looking for new questions (even if the next cruise we can answer it on is a long long way out).
Is it really pronounced CoCo “Key”? Royal Caribbean has said itself that it is pronounced “Key” in a FAQ of their own here: creative.rccl.com/Sales/Royal.... To each their own on this pronunciation!
When and how did you meet? We met in February of 2020 via a dating app. We answer this question in more detail in our Independence of the Seas Day 2 (Swimming with Pigs) video.

I hope you eventually get a chance to try a cruise! My wife and I are in our 50s and she has had Cerebral Palsy since birth and is now pretty much confined to a manual chair that I push…this past year plus, we have gotten into cruising and have had a surprisingly easy time on our four cruises…Three were on Royal Caribbean (Navigator to Mexico, Ovation to Alaska and Oasis from NY to the Bahamas) and our most recent on NCL Bliss up the Pacific Coast to Vancouver…All four ships were, mostly, completely Accessible and, outside of the pool decks, we did not have any trouble using any of the facilities…Plus, ACCESSIBLE CABINS ARE USUALLY TWICE AS BIG AS STANDARD CABINS FOR NO EXTRA COST (our Accessible Oceanviews were about 325 sq ft when the standard ones are about 175 sq ft)

NOROVIRUS- Hi guys! Just an FYI, Brian mentioned Germstar One & killing norovirus. Please check into this as I had learned and just confirmed, hand sanitizers can’t kill norovirus. The alcohol in these can’t penetrate the capsid.

My husband and I we went to Hawaii for our honeymoon two weeks. Absolutely loved it. If you’re going to be doing a cruise. I suggest you go in a couple days early to get rid of the jet lag. And hit one of the luau’s.

Adventure was our first cruise as well. I’m from the UK, yes Blackcurrants are definitely fruits and common here. Certain times of the year they will grow on bushes and when on walks you can’t resist eating them, small and tasty

I love watching a cruise vlog from you on the weekend! So excited when I saw that you were back on Allure. I also hate the bed when its not next to the slider. I found out on Oasis class ships only you have to find a connecting stateroom and the stateroom on the right as you are looking at it from the hallway is the correct lay out with the bed next to the slider and it alternates so from there you can just keep going down the hallway and every other room is the correct layout. The D+ specialty dinner Bogo is another great perk. Keep in mind that it’s per Diamond plus member so my wife and I each use to get two bogo’s. We have also had success in using later in the cruise on inaugural cruises and cruises with a lot of crown and anchor high tier members like transatlantic and repositioning cruises. Just make sure that you book your specially dining on the first day and tell them that you want to use your Bogo later in the cruise.

Honestly, my NZ cruise was the best cruise i ever did. I would 100% recommend. The south island is gorgeous. I did go with carnival and they were great, but there are so many other options other than carnival that would also be great. This been said, i do understand how much effort this would take for you guys, i'm only in melbourne so it was easier for me to get to sydney.

Having been to both Hawaii and New Zealand, I would honestly suggest reconsidering and maybe trying New Zealand, but perhaps more land based! It is so VERY UNIQUE and almost a mind blowing experience! Hawaii is truly lovely, but, strangely, it’s not ALL that different from parts of the Pacific Coast (Oahu is quite similar to Catalina, actually)

*NOOOOOO* You didn't check to see if you had a GUSS!!!!!!!!!!! 😢😢 I don't think you can buy the internet for just 1 day. But, since you are both Diamond Plus, that equals 2 days each or 4 days total. So, you can "share" the log-in account username thing for one or 2 of those 4 days, you just won't be able to both be online at the same time for that day or so.
