Peter At 14:55 you hit the nail on the head with the Navigators. People want to unplug, older folks aren't tech savy, and others may have older smart phones which don't play well with newer tech. Paper doesn't freeze up, paper doesn't run out of power, and paper doesn't need wifi.

💯 the other problem is there is not a good way to show a program grid on the phone and see what is and isn’t overlapping with other things. The navigator just works better

We went on the Caribbean version of the Disney Cruise the first year of operation. I had been in the Coast Guard and the Disney Magic was the first ship I ever sailed on as a passenger. I remember watching the deckhands hauling in the mooring lines ( I didn't have to ) while i sipped a glass of scotch . Luxury ! Have lots of fun , Cheers !

While a bit more expensive than other cruises, the customer service on a Disney Cruise is outstanding. I went on one years ago and I felt that all of the staff and crew aboard the ship were genuinely friendly and happy to be working aboard the ship. And by friendly, I don't mean in a it's our job kind of way but like they were really genuinely friendly people, more than at Disneyland itself. The amenities were good too, when I went, we'd rotate dining rooms, every night for dinner you'd eat at different dining room but your wait staff would follow you from dining room to dining room. The only downside I felt was that they really tried hard to sell you on the photos, taking pictures of you at almost every opportunity. That and the small art gallery where they displayed Disney themed art, but that wasn't too bad since they never tried that hard to sell you ant of it.

The Wonder is our favorite ship in the fleet. It also has one of the best darn crew/cast members (human being) on this mud ball. Vernessa!!! I haven't even started the video and I'm hoping to see her smiling face somewhere.

I went on a similar Disney cruise to Mexico back in the mid 2000's - when the Wonder was still docked up at Long Beach instead of SD, but its amazing seeing it updated. I still remember the wind rocking the ship on it sides, sending people toppling over and stuff flying off the tables, so I suppose I'm not surprised your ship got rerouted due to the storms. You'd be so sick... Glad you guys are having a great time! So envious!

I almost cried hearing the Horns! I miss that sweet sound! Our 5th Disney cruise was cancelled this June...we were sad....but we were able to go to Aulani instead! Hence, how I found you! It was meant to be! I can't wait to cruise again! We love our Disney cruises. Although we may try other cruise lines in future, nothing will match the love we have for DCL! There is just something very special for us. Our last DCL was a 4 day to Cabo, just hubby and I! It was the best cruise ever!! Let me just say a couple massage during sail away is amazing!! Sitting in the private jacuzzi tub leaving San Diego bay...Best memory ever!!

@@OrdinaryAdventures We've had two massages! Had great experiences! I believed it used to be that if you visited the spa before sail away and booked you would get a discount. Also, when you are docked at destination they usually give a discount. Massage = relaxation the rest of cruise! That couples massage in private room with jacuzzi is the way to go. The windows open up so you can look out and feel the ocean breeze!! I will save extra just to be able to do that again!! Love these cruise videos!!

My mom has a hot tub. Her and my auntie use it all the time. The cover can fold back so they can be in it and put drinks and stuff on it. One night they went to sonic, took their food and some adult beverages to the tub, my auntie takes a couple bites of her fried chicken sandwich 🥪 and manages to drop it in the hot tub 😆

My husband's cruise ship was kept in Puerto Vallarta because of the storm. You would've had a lot of trouble holding down your meals with all that up and down from the storm. May not have been the planned cruise you planned but Disney cruises are usually fun despite it. Can't wait to see the rest of the trip videos.

Hi guys, we were the family you met outside the hotel with the 2 young boys that liked your previous vid about drinking the pepper water. The cruise was so relaxing with so few people onboard. Always love the food on Disney cruises. I think they did a good job creating the fun even still being in the pandemic.

I worked security at the cruise terminal for 5 years but not at this time due to other obligations. I would have been either at the main check in point right before bag screening or at the gangway and most likely had an opportunity to wish you a great time on your cruise. Loved your detailed description so far and enjoy your vacation.

I have always wanted to go on a disney cruise but I can't really justify the price. You can get 10 day cruises for the same price of a 4 day cruise and the amenities are usually the same on the other ships. One day I will make it happen though.

It’s definitely a lot more expensive. Some would argue that the experience is more valuable. I think it’s easy to make that argument if you have children.
