Boarding the Tsugaru Kaikyo Ferry has reopened after 15 years

I boarded the Tsugaru Kaikyo Ferry on Muroran-Aomori route. I boarded the Blue Mermaid, which departs Muroran Port at 8 pm and arrives in Aomori at 3 am.
This route targets truck drivers, but I love riding ferries, so I boarded the ferry on foot.

昨年秋に青森からの便に乗りました昼便は景色が素晴らしくあっという間の6時間45分でした

フェリーターミナルに向かう途中に立ち寄った丸七栗林アリーナですが室蘭が栗林発祥の地です。

うわぁー、寒そう。こういうフェリーもあったのだと初めてしりました。私もフェリー好きなので、夏に乗船してみたいと思います。😃

函館～青森航路の時には無かった冷蔵庫が設置されていますね。以前乗船した時はあると思ったら無かったので、冷蔵庫があると何かと便利なんですよ。

冷蔵庫はあると色々と便利ですよね。船の自販機はアルコール類の販売終了が早いので、いつでも冷えた缶ビールが飲める冷蔵庫を私も重宝しています。

コメントありがとうございます。例年でしたらこの時期から積雪が期待できたのですが、今年は12月になっても暖かい日が続いてしまったようです。次の旅程はまだ計画中ですが2024年も旅を続けるのでご覧になって頂けると嬉しいです。

2:35秒付近の栗林商会アリーナ。ロゴの「七」が見慣れているようなので気になって調べて見ました。この体育館は室蘭市の入江運動公園総合体育館といい、行政側が管理し命名権は栗林商会ということで「（ロゴ）栗林商会アリーナ」となっており、2022年４月にオープンした施設となります。因みにロゴですが、青森～函館（函館市浅野町）間を航行する青函フェリー（共栄運輸系）でも同じ「まる七」のロゴが使われており見慣れたロゴが・・・ということで記載致しました。ご参考までに。

お久しぶりです。偶然見つけた体育館だったのですが、おっしゃる通り青函フェリーの母体となる栗林グループの名前がついた体育館です。室蘭を拠点とする栗林商会が命名した体育館で過ごした後、青函フェリーではなく津軽海峡フェリーに乗船したのでちょっと不思議な気分でした。

The official website is as follows www.tsugarukaikyo.co.jp/global/en/ You should see the word "Reservation" in the upper right corner of the screen. But the reservation screen may be in Japanese only...

Oh thank you but I've seen this page before, when using the search tool, after selecting muroran to Aomori, I can only choose this 便を選択, 2便(運休) And if I do a search it says 「運休のため、照会できません」

Different letters should appear.

Thank you for the help, I've seen silver ferry also closed their line from muroran to hachinode 😭 I will just go to tomakomai and take the silver ferry there 😔
