Loved watching this one with your Dad. My Dad died in 2014 and he used to fish off the lighthouse. He would have LOVED watching smash fishing!!

My brother Scott would love this. He landed in ICU Saturday. He was fishing here in Michigan slipped on some rocks and cracked his head. He has a fracture and a brain bleed. They stopped the bleeding and seems in good spirits now. He will recover but its going to be awhile before he can fish again. Its his favorite thing to do and its gonna make him crazy.

Man, slippery rocks. My childhood summers up in Maine on an island at low tide = giant rocks, and LOTS of blood / skin flap loss on my hands and feet as there were CRAZY outcroppings in the crevices... a dozen sheets of rock would stick upwards like knives, hidden right under the seaweed.

The south shore of Long Island, NY has been troubled by bull sharks along the coast. Beaches had to be closed. I could tell your father is a pro and he’s the reason that you’re a great fisherman. Loved your Dad’s boat. The water looked gorgeous. It was enjoyable to see you and Dad fishing. Be well!

When I lived in Los Angeles I would go fishing after work. Redondo Beach was a nice quiet drive, great beach and boardwalk with some nice restaurants. But it was the fishing that I went there for and during the mackerel runs your arm would end up fatigued from pulling in so many fish. And for me that is one fish that really cooked up well and tasted great fresh.
