A quick comment for you. The mosquitos here in Key Largo are really bad but if you stay a little farther off shore they won't come out to you. It does work, try it

Dont give up on the card it can be something as simple as fingerprints on the chip side can clean with clear rubbing alchohol. Had a card i thought was gone as well and all i had to do was clean it. Can be something else very minor as well. Try it in another device see if you get same error after cleaning
