6 жыл бұрынBoat propeller lamp. This video shows how I made a lamp using a boat propeller for the base and welded chain to create a spiral water effect. I used some chrome clothes rail up the center to hide the wires.
It is quite an easy project to make with the welding of the chain links being the most difficult part.
I lost the footage of attaching the chain to the plywood but it was easily done using just some wire. The plywood and chain is attached to the propeller using three mirror screws.
The propeller was given to me by a friend after he changed the propeller on his boat.

Eamon Walsh DIY started off bad but got myself a auto dim helmet so now i can see where im putting the stick. Like it though making hairpin legs for tables.

Very Nicely done but FYI under Irish and Eu regs the metal parts need to be bonded together and then earthed but it is clever
