I'm glad that they are out with innovative products. I'd love to see how the product is received by various segments of customers and where it's gonna hit and miss. Quite a lot of assumptions and predictions at this point. But I'm sure the real outcome is gonna be unpredictable. The story and the pitch of Boat is gonna be a decider, because they're entering in uncharted waters with this. In any case well done Boat and good luck.

While wearing a ring , you can - 1. Bathe 2. Wash hands 3. Eat food (some people like eating dal-rice with hands rather than spoon) 4. Put hands in some oily snacks packet that you love munching while between meals 5. Its good to see Indian companies trying something new but i dont think ke people will but this ring for these features only Adding a gps also would have been great so that parents could keep a track of their kids and feel a lill relaxed about their whereabouts specially small kids. There are 2 companies that are already selling in India. They were also featured by TechCrunch to be the first Smart Ring Brand. One Of the brands is PiRing. They have various models that are priced to address to cater Indian customers.

Practically, it's of no use. Ultimately you need a smart phone, uske Bina it's just a ring. It's not advisable to keep looking at your heart rate, oxygen etc etc all the time, especially when it's not accurate, as you may end up worrying all the time.
