Bakers Haulover Inlet is a man-made inlet created in 1925 connecting Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean . In 1926 a hurricane destroyed the bulkhead and jetty on the ocean side of the inlet. In 1927 two 700 foot long steel sheet pile jetties were constructed 325 feet apart on the north and south sides.

Most people have no idea what vessel stability is and how it will be effected by fuel, water, ice, people and their belongings. Most know their boat is slower but they have no idea how it will impact handling characteristics and in this case the increased rate at which it will list and rebound (right itself) from a list to port or starboard once initiated. Your CG and Metacentric height need to play nice or else you get the Golden Ray RoRo ship heeling over and capsizing from a simple turn leaving port!

Great drone footage. That blue hull became very unstable and couldn't upright itself. I bet that the Capt. had some real tight "puckering" going on.

Why do people think they can put as many people in a boat irregardless what the plate says. I am betting they had to pry that seat out of the blue boats captain. Great drone work guys.

I was more concerned with poor Ghost coming home with 1 motor trimmed up,,,, probably a busted g/box, thats been the weak link so far
