I remember he also had Indian Charlie the year he had Real Quiet. Indian Charlie was the favorite to win! On the walk over at the Kentucky Derby, he and the owner of Real Quiet had their finger to their to their lips...going Shsss... repeatedly. Made it real obvious. Anyone that was there and saw that..dhould have rushed to place a bet on Real Quiet.

Everyone sets sail for home to early in the Belmont! The point where youve got 3/8 of a mile to go and you really ask your horse for his best, youve still got a 1/2"mile to go at Belmont! As Stuart Elliot..

@@question_it_701 The point was, this particular jockey was not familiar with Belmont the oval is 1 MI. 1/2. ! The 3/8 pole is nearer to the top of the stretch. I think he would admit he moved to early, after all he got caught in the final strides. Wait another beat or 2 , he wins. Gary Stevens moved to early on Winning Colors too, he said so, she was ALMOST caught at the wire. You know what I was saying? "Dont move to early, don't move to early, don't move to early"...
