I love the idea but the dirt and unskilled operators mashing those couples could cause a problem! If I was to buy a new machine I would prolly invest in this system!! Great product keep up the great work!!

I might be missing something but how is dirt going to get on the couplers?

Brian Gardiner when you are working dirt or anything dirt gets up around the bob tech and could get up in the couplers and oil contracts dust and crap could cause problems!!

@@Excavating320 I would think they used it at their proving grounds in Tucson extensively before they released it. I'm sure it has been in testing for several years.

How about the DIN plug. Could make some brass spring loaded contacts . Alot of big attachments have a mounted solenoid block to alow for multi function on the attachment.

Awesome idea, wonder if dirt or debris is a factor, I wipe off my connectors Every time I hook something up, dirt seems to get everywhere no matter what u do

I wounder if they could have a small 12v air compressor in the machine and an 1/8" air line that routes right through a hole in the plugs side that you could give it a burst of air before hookup. I know I could always use a small compressor on my Cat skid loader while working to clean off things in the field and maybe top off tires and blow out chainsaws and other things.

So how does it work with the bobcat planer? I mean the electric cable and water hose connections? Is it incorporated into the bobdock system or is that something you want me to invent?

Cool idea. Good way to make yourself different than competitors. Is it really worth the cost? I’m guessing $6-800 per adapter plate. Times 3 attachments that you might have on the job sight. So $2K for the speed of switching attachments. I would have a hard time justifying that to accounting.

Ok... Pro's 1) Dont have to get out to hook hoses. 2) allows for repositioning of hoses that can prevent them from getting damaged . Cons 1)damage will occur to the coupling, leaks leaks and morr leaks. 2) Dirt and debris gets everywhere.... that will cause an issue 3) I bet if you break it.. it is costly and will have your machine down until you can get replacement parts.

#3, You still have the original Bobtach plate. If the Bob Dock is down you can still use the Bobtach.

Hi Jacob - the Bob-Dock attachment mounting system is available on M2-Series and newer model loaders.

High flow doesn’t effect the couplers at all. On bobcat there is no difference between high flow and standard flow couplers

Hi, Bobby. The Bob-Dock attachment mounting system is compatible with most hydraulic and non-hydraulic attachments, but unfortunately is not approved for use with the tilt attachment piece.

I bet it causes power loss on the bucket breakout and lift capacity.

So it's using pioneer quick coupler type couplers to pop in and out I imagine. Flat face coupler kind of suck ass.

Bobcat this is so dumb so what I'm supposed to have 3 adapter plates while using the tilt tact?? I mean come one this is stupid a whole other plate should of design it into the attachments then I'd buy it I already have your pin on quick attach attach to the tilt tact attached to the bucket cant have a third lmao redesign this

So you're worried about breaking a hose that you can get from your local NAPA in an hour...and prefer a part that when breaks will be WEEKS out to get from poor bobcat support? Nah, I'll take the 30 seconds and just hook up hoses myself.

buy a spare for the toolbox like all the other common parts you need. couplers, fuel caps, hyd bobtach pins and springs,

Good idea, bad execution. It works for a new machine for a little while, but it leaks, how quick can you find parts. I mean how often are you switching buckets..... 30 seconds isn’t gonna make or break ya over the course of an hour or a day.....

They stole this from rototilt that’s how the connection happens on a rototilt for an excavator but bobcat will take 6 weeks to get you the parts when something breaks

This used to be called bob-tach when intregrsal rand owned bobcat and yeah buy are 8 10 thousand bobcat attacment so you can be a lazy ass and not hook up your hoses and its not that hard if you do it when the bobcat is off if you try to do it while its running its under pressure and its hard as fuck
