I first Mr. Engelhardt in Dayton Ohio in 1978. He inspired me to attend his same art school in Chicago! AAART was big help with my career in cartooning. Thank you, sir@

Thanks, Bob. I'm a writer and have been for years. But now I'm getting back into art and will illustrate a children's book I'm writing. You have your own methods and style that you've worked out just like I had to find my "voice" as a writer. Now I'm working on my own style, experimenting with different mediums and working out how my characters will live through my drawings. Thanks for showing us your method.

Interesting but would like to see more in-depth video detailing the creative process. For example, show us some examples of "good" versus "bad" ideas and why they meet those criteria. Also, for us amateurs, it would be helpful to know how to get cartoons critiqued and how to submit cartoons for publication.

Hi Bob, Can you recommend any good training to draw Editorial Cartoons? Thanks

Any kind of art course to learn how to draw. Study other cartoonists and reverse engineer the cartoon. Then make up your own cartoon.
