I watched the movie. The trailer shows the best parts. I was disappointed. No depth about his relationship with Rita, his affairs, his illness, etc. Bob and his music and activism was great but I think the movie missed the spot.

Nah, he's not that out of this world complicated. This cast was misfit in appearance, but did a good job. This also should not be labeled biopic...and there were too many inaccuracies. Certain things didn't make sense.

I find it hard to say something is inaccurate when the family is involved….

@BigGoldBelt if you knew the story of Bob Marley and how removed the family is from Bob's spirit you would. Like the whole Don Taylor scene where Bob beat him...thats not how that happened. And the assassination. Rita came in and asked if Bob was OK not the other way around. If you read Rita's book you'll see how she had very very little input into Bob's decisions. He pretty much closed her out and disrespected her. She even said she didn't feel like a wife and her role was to sing and to get women out of Bob's room. The list goes on. I blame Ziggy. I feel like he wanted a fairy tale for his ailing mom. The movie was historically inaccurate.

Ur thumbnail comes acrosss soooo negative! But ur comments did knot? I'm glad I listened because I was kind of turned off at the start .... I went and saw it the day after it was released and enjoyed it for sure ! But nothing spectacular and definitely not worthy of an award.............. hopefully down the road might be able to do something better with more substance! I feel like the average bear that does not know much about Bob will be left high and dry . And will skate on the soundtrack which is wonderful obviously..... and just think Bob is cool because he is a man and smokes a lot of ganga! Hopefully they will do their research if they are self motivated and learn more of the big story! Behind a legend❤️💛☘️
