Dude, exactly. These videos always come up at the same time I go to sleep, and I always watch it for like 5 mins but then I put my phone under my pillow and fall asleep in like 5minutes. So effective.

He has succeeded In convincing people that this very gift of painting is something you can take to old age with confidence, and joy with talent God he as infused in all of us. Lord, thank you very much for giving this gentle man, for showing clearly that your Glory shows through with each painting he completes. Enjoy his presence as much as we did while he was with us!

Everything about The Joy of Painting is soothing! I like the sound the knife makes when Bob Ross mixes colors on the pallet. I also really like the noises the brushes make when Bob Ross paints the paintings!! 🎨🖌️💙🖤🤍🤎❤️💛💚

It's funny how the rest of the world kind of thrives on making fun of something or maybe even being hateful. But unlike any other place in the world, when you come to the Bob Ross comment section it's almost like a competition on who can say the nicest things. Just awesome

Welcome to Season 22 everyone :) lovely Fall painting. Love the mountain as always, and the leaves and river are really calm. It's funny how you can have a cold mountain with warm colored leaves and you get, a mix of temperature yet, an abundance of color and vibrance. Thank you Bob for the time you've spent on this Earth. In a way, you're still spending it with us, forever :)

Unlike other paintings he has crated, the leaves and the bushes in this one felt very flat. Maybe because he spent so much time doing the mountains and run out of time. Still, listening to his voice in the background, as I do other things, feels very relaxing.

Bob mentioned 100 years from now when someone looks at your painting, I think they will think whoever painted that picture that the painter had a fantastic teacher more than the painter had a good day. Bob Ross was the very best.

You got that right. I remember me and my friends were watching him one day during the summer break of high school. It was hypnotizing. My parents came in the door from where ever they were, stood there and said "who the hell is that? What show is that?" We told them and they stood there watching for like another 15-20 mins and said holy crap "I'm tired and need to lay down" LOL. That man was absolutely amazing. Most relaxing voice in human history. Great artist too.
