Bobbity Bob is the best! He always helps me to instantly feel more relaxed and content. He was a very special person with a very warm, caring heart. I'm itching to give painting a go because he has convinced me that you can find freedom on that canvas, and that's what I need, some time away from this world and this life. A space where my mind can be free to be transported off into another world of my own creation. I can feel it.

There are some sad episodes coming up in the later seasons, like when his wife dies. He'll talk into the camera and choke back tears. It's tough to watch. Sorry if I spoiled a subplot (this show is like the Downton Abbey of painting sometimes).

Down the list of comments a person wished that Bob Ross's son took over for his father's death. Well i've seen shows where Bob's son painted and he was very good ..but nothing close to as good as his father..Plus he didn't have the personally of his Father. There was only one Bob Ross. The master painter with the sweet personality.
