Disagree. Passing a student out of pity is dishonest and bad for the student in the long run. He appeared to be a gentle man, but knew the importance of honesty.

I understand your point, completely and definitely agree there should be more shows like this - but I like to believe that were Bob alive today, he'd be the king of twitter with 4 million followers, a youtube channel with regular uploads, and a show on Netflix. He'd be an internet sensation these days. This thought helps me when I'm trawling through the telly looking for something to watch and then eventually give up and put on an episode of Bob.

Bob Ross is like that nice, easygoing professor everyone adores and have a soft spot for. Someone you'll listen to stories about his families and simple, motivational and comforting words. It's so cute how he kept mentioning Steve - what a fun-loving father

His voice is so soothing and the way he speaks relaxes u and his paintings are so clean it satisfys u so anyone suffering from mental illness or issues like myself i urge u to watch bob ross as painting is proven to be a stress reliever for anger issues and for anxiety or depression calm and soothing word play can relax the mind. Also his inspirational words half way through are very helpful as ive wanted to paint for so long and im considering starting once and for all

Sue Vincent it’s called an “aspirated h”. He puts just the hint of one at the beginning of the word “white” when he says it. It’s like if you’ve ever heard a French person try to pronounce words with what we would call “a true h” in English. They have a really really hard time saying it, because their language only has the aspirated “h”. They pronounce it when sing the alphabet “asche”. It’s just funny to hear him say it, and it’s a funny quirk we love him for. 😂❤️

He just has such an airy light way of speaking, (if you listen you can hear him putting air before all his words,) that’s part of the reason I think he’s so calming, aside from his peaceful demeanor and mindset overall.

As someone who’s tried recreating this piece, in vain, through printing out pictures of it from the internet, this is the first time I’ve ever watched the episode of him creating it. It’s unbelievable how he does it as almost an afterthought.
