I’m not a painter and not really a drawer either but I just love watching these episodes. They help me calm down whenever I’m stressed out about something. R.I.P Bob Ross your paintings will live on forever!!

I had no idea Bob was gone in 95, at age 52. How unfair life is sometimes. I would often find myself watching these back in the day. So glad to find these on KZfaq, they are really great to go to sleep to.

I looked up Bob's resting place! There's a large tree by it, I hope there's a family of Squirrels living in it! That would be way cool! RIP! Bob 🐿

Every time, Bob never ceases to amaze. First and foremost, his beautiful voice :3 Second, he starts of with things that look like abstract blobs, and usually within the span of 5 brush strokes he makes it look like a masterpiece. If you have internet up there in heaven and are reading this, thank you for your contribution to this world, you beautiful man. Rest in peace.

What always seized to amaze me is how he could paint a masterpiece in under 30 minutes and make it all look so simple. Also did you know he never sold any of his paintings? They were auctioned off instead and he made his money from selling art supplies and teaching others to be art instructors.

His voice is the best ASMR ever. Just listen to it. It's so calming. Even if you'd be furious or suffer from chronic depression, this would clear your mind and calm you down.

+Equalizer No, it isn't, it's a tingling sensation on the scalp caused, yes, by whispering and soft noises, that causes relaxation.

Bob was a genius ! He is the one person who thought thousands of people all over the world how to paint and enjoy it! Most painters today still talk about how he started them off into their careers or just painting because you enjoy it! Thank you Bob. So glad we are able to see his programs!

I've never been much into painting but this showed up in my YT suggested videos today and I was reminded of those days a long time ago when I'd watch Bob Ross on PBS. I love this man, and I now know what I'm binge-watching this summer.

The heavens have opened...LOL... I was working on a seascape and it wasn't talking to me....and then as I was painting, BOB made me see the light...whew....soooooo very happy with my painting now...YASS!!

Bob Ross believe it or not spent 20yrs in the military as an Air Force Boot Camp Drill Instructor....he picked up a brush and painted at night to relieve the anxiety and tension he built up in him during a day training recruits!
