Fact: Daniel was replaced by Tina, because the writers felt like he was too similar to Gene, and the crew also felt like the idea of 2 sons would not work too well, so that is why we now have Tina instead of Daniel.

Wouldn't it be interesting if they brought Daniel back for one episode? Tina could have a nightmare that she was a boy (Daniel) or maybe she met Daniel somewhere and they had a one0time romance. Or maybe just him as a random one line character.

Or a flashback episode about when Linda was pregnant, the doctor told them that it was a boy and they named the baby Daniel, bought all the clothes and toys for boy ( the episode could start with Tina discovering all the clothes and toys), but when Tina was born they were surprised ( in a good way), which would be a very wholesome scene at the end of the episode. And think of all the pregnancy jokes would Linda crack!

There was an original concept even before this one, where Linda and bob were grinding up human meat and there’s a hand with a ring on it and Linda thinks it’s her anniversary gift. Pretty insane, esp compared to the final version.

Yeah, when Loren Bouchard originally pitched the concept, he wanted them to ve a family of cannibals, serving people burgers. The studio thought it was too grizzly. The pilot episode is a wink to that. Honestly, I like that original concept better.

That’s one reason I love this show more now than Family Guy and American Dad. You can only watch so many episodes revolving around Peter and Stan treating their wives like crap, having a realization at the end of how they take them for granted, making up…and doing it all again on the next episode. The wholesomeness and kookiness of this show is what keeps me hooked.

@@brandikins11it’s awesome seeing a character realize at the end of the episode that they’ve been taking their wife or partner for granted and that they learned a lesson, but it’s not that they’re bullying or treating their partner like crap, it’s simply that they were being selfish or not paying attention for a silly or selfish reason. It’s just a more realistic depiction of a relationship and it’s makes the show that much more endearing.

And in peril he saves himself but not Lois. It’s just been done so many times. The show really is dying…but I’m glad Bob’s is still going strong.

Yay! That's exactly how I feel. We've already seen the gross and creepy version of pubescent boys. They usually skip the messy, embarrassing part of being a girl and go straight into the miniskirt wearing, vapid, and sex seeking teen. Having Tina be a little "extra" makes me feel better about myself when remembering those years. Lol!

I think the cannibal aspect was dropped before this.

Pretty much. The cannibal version was criticised for being edgy for the sake of being edgy, which the show creator claims was done because he thought that's what was expected. So after that feed back they made this pilot which resulted in the show being picked up

i think the cannibalism would probably be cool turn for the show since it’s never been done if it was done right it would’ve been awesome

@@Knotyourdad I think it would just end up holding the show back. There's only so many jokes you can do about cannibalism and then when doing non-cannibal stuff it would feel weird knowing they're cannibals. The jokes in the cannibal pitch are basically the same as the final episode just the extra joke if "evil people acting normal" which would get old quickly. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bd97faybzM-WfGg.html

It’s quite interesting how much is here n kept and interesting how them cutting and amending certain things made this episode so much… Quite surprising lol. Impressive I can see why they greenlit it…BUT THANK GOSH they changed it from Daniel TO Tina and kept the same VA 😂
