Bob Sapp is a legend in his own sense. In his prime, he fought 63 times in kickboxing and mixed martial arts combined. Sapp was the face of Japanese MMA and kickboxing in the 2000s, having started his career in PRIDE and K-1. Despite his size, Sapp has never been a dominant force in either sport, with losing records in both kickboxing and mixed martial arts. His name has been turned into a joke after being accused of fight-fixing, typically collapsing at the first sight of danger.

@@Noles4life77 yeah but with 290 ibs on 196cm with "maby 20% bodyfat he were clear better in mma and k1 and at firs view 330 ibs on 196 cm with maby 31 % bodyfat a chunk ^^ btw "were at relativ "comparatively same good training "etc jaquil o'neil better at mma and k1 than bob sapp he is "~ 7feet and 1 inch (216cm) ok he have proportional to his upper body long legs, abdomen and hip area but 216 cm quite near a head taller than bob sapp

I was thinking the same thing. Then it hit me. Look at all his opponents. Majority are either much smaller or overweight. With Bob being so big and intimidating, the match up will sell tickets.
