Do you need the corkie or can you use a bead?what’s the reason for the corkie?

Bead or corki is good...that allows you to know your rig is working properly if u cast and the rig is tangled the corkie won't sit above the float and snug to your bobberstop the corkie will be floating away from bobber so it's a indicator for your indicator 😆 thanks for commenting!

Bobber doggin' is essentially bottom bouncing or side drifting with a bobber. Don't discredit yourself by saying it's the same as flossing; it isn't. Flossing sucks! Most of the guys that fish above where you hooked that fish are indeed flossing with bobbers = long ass leaders, multiple hooks, BIG soft beads and oversized hooks, split shots along the length of their long ass leaders and sight fishing in 1' of water. YOU Sir, are doing shit the legit way. ROCK ON! >

i can fully agree with you i always thought of flossing as just another techniqe ill floss salmon with a 5-6ft leader 1 bead and some skein or yarn and a weight typically casting way out into a faster seam (not sight fishing) but the way you explain it does make it sound not so great! lol im all about sight fishing but imo it works better with a fixed float or maribou jig! thankyou for breaking it down apperciate the info!

I buy pre tied 48 inch leaders and cut them down. To a about 28inches or so depending on water clarity and movement
