Love this. I have fibro and just diagnosed with Hashimotos. I suffered with daily headaches and wide spread body aches for 17 years. I have been vegetarian for 25 years and eat a "healthy" diet. I was told I needed to switch to a gluten free diet. Wow! What a change for me. No more headaches and virtually no more pain. I realize now, I consumed a lot of wheat and oatmeal thinking they were good for me, not realizing they were causing all the inflammation. My rosacea and psoriasis have also improved.

Every time I bring up a natural home cure or treatment for something to a doctor, they get super defensive and often visibly angry. Western doctors are smart in that they can remember useless Latin names for stuff faster than most of us. But doctors can be very defensive and immature in the face of things they don't understand or what will not buy them a new boat.

Both me and my sister have had fibro for thirty years. Here's a list of stuff that helps me: wheat free, dairy free, Advil liquigels (everything else makes me sick), multiple mineral solutions, green tea, milk thistle, alpha lipoic acid, weight lifting, hot showers with ayurvedic soap (all other soaps cause me pain) no alcohol, no coffee. I can handle tons of caffeine but not coffee. Hope this helps someone.i did a liver cleanse and I was 90 percent better for ten years.

i have both conditions for 30 years & tried all kinds of diets too.. i know the ins and outs of foods but because of my age, and friends dropping like flies, i'm thinking i might be next, so now i am "dead" serious about what i put in my mouth. i am trying to get off meds & biologic IVs too, but i never looked into oils and tinctures. theres lots of negatives here, so some people need to get over it! this will help a lot of people so just move on to tomorrow videos. RA & Fibro is a 24hr torture that even my husband doesn't grasp the full extent of it...... so thanks Bob & Brad !!! GREAT VIDEO!! :D :D

My aunt was on homeopathic treatment for years and no big improvement. My other aunt did acupuncture and she said pain subsided but she still felt pain. I know it is in my genes (RA) i read on coconut oil but studies are divided...i do use tumeric on shakes. Eating right means no cheese (which causes inflammation) no processed breads, no red meats. It is a hard diet. I don't follow it now. Maybe when the pain is bad. Oh...and all the studies I have read regarding RA, gotta stay active. Walking, swimming, light weight training, find ways to move move move.

A warning on collagen: hydrolised marine collagen prompted my sudden onset polymyalgia rheumatica when I started taking it as a supplement. The hydroxyproline in it converts to oxalates in your body and can cause auto-immune inflammation. (See collagen induced arthritis & oxalate arthritis). I'm now on a low oxalate diet, as well as low carb and gluten/grain-free and am successfully reducing the steroid medication I was forced to take to reduce pain and regain basic movement.

Avoiding high oxalate foods is helpful too. The nightshade foods are high oxalate as well as spinach, Swiss chard, almonds, lots of things. The oxalates form crystals in joints and soft tissues to cause pain and auto-immune inflammation.

Just wanted to add, For me, many times chiropractic makes me worse and I have been going to chiropractors since 1985 but since fibromyalgia it’s been less and less effective. Massage doesn’t help me, acupuncture not only doesn’t help me, every needle makes me jump off the table. The acupuncturist said in 25 years, she’s never seen that. Fibromyalgia, inflammatory diseases, and chronic pain are no joke. I was as tough as nails growing up, it has pummeled me into a whimp, not kidding.

Can't wait to watch her diet video. I suffered with fibromyalgia for so long and did not know what in the world was wrong with me. I just knew that I wanted to die because it was so debilitating! Then I went on some medication that has side effects to kill your liver. I wamt off of it so badly! I have tried tinctures and tried to pinpoint things in my diet that increase inflammation. I heard a psychologist the other day say this autoimmune disease stems from PTSD. After I had went through several traumatic things in my life, that's when my fibromyalgia began. Okay, so how do I put it back in the box? How in the world do you reverse this process? I just want to feel normal again. The medication suppresses emotions and suppresses sex drive. But the alternative is to be in constant excruciating pain. I just want to feel good again! 🙏

Several years ago, I was diagnosed with Psoriatic arthritis. None of the drugs the rheumatologist prescribed worked, and he was going to put my on a medication that is used to prevent organ rejection in organ transplant patients. After reading about the potentially lethal side effects, I refused to take them. I changed my eating habits completely, to a whole foods diet and very limited wheat products. It took years for my body to be in a whole lot less pain, but eating whole foods absolutely helped. I also did extensive reading on vitamin deficiencies, and found a few that exactly matched my symptoms. Important note, I had 18" of my intestines removed from a severe episode of diverticulitis. I developed the psoriatic arthritis type symptoms after surgery to remove that infected part of my intestine from diverticulitis. So, for me, lowering inflammation through clean eating, and taking vitamins I was deficient in, is what has helped me to slowly recover my health. I'm not fully recovered, but way better than I was, and without severe medications that have horrible side effects. I was never convinced I had psoriatic arthritis. My aunt was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis like 25 years ago. She had part of her intestine removed, the same time I had my surgeries, because of chrones disease. She has since stopped her Humera, and has zero effects from Rheumatoid arthritis. She thinks her symptoms where because of her intestines too. I'm NOT saying people on medications shouldn't take those meds. Just saying to change your diet to whole foods, have yourself checked for vitamin deficiencies, and find out if you have an intestinal disease. Sometimes, those symptoms are a result of something going on in your intestines.

And, I've been a big fan of coconut oil for a couple of decades & only found out very recently that it's high in nickel. Hi - short of seeing the next video where she discusses diet, I'm going to hazard a guess and say Jody is likely on a ketogenic diet, which is anti inflammatory. Most, close to all of my fibro pain is gone on this diet (1.5 years now). I have some likely osteoarthritis developing in my wrists/basal thumb area and I have had bursitis in my hips twice since starting keto. Since the oa is new, I can't compare before/after. One round of bursitis was due to taking fluouroquinolones. The other I woke up with from a nap! In the past, I've needed oral steroids to break the issue. Both these last bouts lasted 3 days and were gone with no steroid meds. In fact, this past week I made an appointment to see my pain doc about the second round of bursitis, but I woke up the next morning without any pain, so I cancelled the appointment. Three days later, and I've just got in from a two-mile morning walk with no aftereffects of the hip pain.

Please consider an episode on something I, and many others, had never even heard of until being diagnosed with it -- Polymyalgia Rheumatica aka PMR. The onset is rapid (like, overnight) It apparently is on the increase recently (NIH). There are Facebook groups for support, but this is so debilitating and causes so much excruciating pain. Perhaps even consider what exercises might be beneficial once diagnosis is given and prednisone therapy has begun. There is some information out there, but some videos are filled with inaccuracies, and besides some do not just get to the point! NSAIDS do nothing for it, really.

This applies to any auto immune disease. Our natural state is to be healthy. It is when we create an unhealthy environment that we become sick. Any disease can be fixed if we go back to a healthy state, but I have yet to meet a western medicine doctor who will advocate for fixing the underlying cause rather than managing the disease. The best thing one can do for themselves is find a doctor/chiropractor who has a holistic approach to curing the disease rather then managing it.

I had my gallbladder out in my 20’s. In my late 30’s I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I am close to 50 now and was just diagnosed with RA.

While I agree that diet and acupuncture can work wonders, EOs are nothing other than a placebo effect.

Too bad America insurance companies won't pay for STEM cell therapy, or Ozone Therapy. To some doctors, you are a paycheck, not a patient.

Im glad this worked for Jody , however the advice on biologics are a bit misleading as they are used specifically because they are relatively low on side affects and also have a scientific proven effect unlike homeopathy which still has no base in science. The underlying cause in RA is not the inflammation it is the result - the faulty imunine system is the cause - this can only be addressed by supessing the immune system. I totally agree that the inflammation can be helped by good diet and exercise but if youhave full blown RA you will not function without suppression of the immune system. I have had RA for five years - I take biologics and eat a keto diet with intermittent fasting - just about pain free with a physical active lifestyle for two years - the drugs take a while to work - you just got to get through it !

Perhaps this diet works for Rheumatoid Arthritis but it is incorrect to say that it works for fibromyalgia. IBS is a common symptom of fibromyalgia which means that substituting wheat pasta for pasta made from chickpeas would be the worst thing you could do. Chickpeas and beans are not good for IBS - perhaps in very small doses. Cutting out MSG would help with fibromyalgia and there exists scientific reasons and research to back that up but following the above diet will not improve fibromyalgia pain for those people diagnosed with fibromyalgia that does not accompany another auto immune disease. Fibromyalgia is very very different to rheumatoid arthritis and it may even be the case that the fibromyalgia that people with other auto immune diseases are diagnosed with is a different type to the fibromyalgia experienced by other people who have fibro without any other auto immune disease being present
