I honestly don’t believe she’s trying to be Whitney or want to be in her shadow. She just living her life, being Bobby’s wife, supporting him & taking care their kids. Fans and other people the ones who making competition & comparing. Alicia get a lot of hate because it’s Bobby and Whitney. If Bobby was a regular person nobody would care who he with. Bobby will always love whit because he was married to her for 15 years and they share a child who unfortunately passed away but that doesn’t mean he don’t love his current wife. This man has lost a lot and I appreciate Alicia for carrying him through it all. He need a strong minded and supportive woman by his side. Nothing but blessing to him and his family

@@kamariatoure42 I watched the documentary and am honestly thinking the same thing. She mentioned being there when he was scared to get married supposedly being a good friend to Bobby. So it's either that or she stuck around waiting for the marriage to fail so she could get him. But I bet you they was sleeping Around with each other during his marriage.

He had a son at 17 yrs old, his daughter w/his girl and by that time he and Whitney started dating. I suggest you watch his documentary. Everyone during that era has said and still say that, even his current wife said they had a love story.. It's good and breaks down his life story.. Yes Whitney was his official first love.. Alicia is wonderful for him and I like her and like she says she's a secure woman and will always know they're forever tied. But that's doesn't take away from who he is today and he's definitely blessed and I am happy for him. I grew up during all of Whitney, NE and Bobby Brown Era so to see him where he is now is wonderful.

Whitney was an outstandingly talented woman and she was beautiful. She had a voice out of this world. But she had a drug addiction. She was not alone. There are many talent people that have drug addictions. But Whitney and Bobby were not good for each other. Their relationship was toxic due to drugs. Alecia has helped Bobby to overcome that and become a better person, he kicked his drug habits, stripped off his old ways, she supported him through a lot of trauma in his life. That's what a good person for you will do, they will encourage and help you to do better and that's what she has done. She's was a better person for him and someone who loved him enough to help him.

I am too. He has taken accountability for the past and working to be his best going forward. This lady holds her own, she respects all aspects of his past relationships, his older children. I thought ..oh no not another show but watching it ...he needed to be done because the Houstons never took ownership of their own family issues. It was not solely Bobby's fault for the drugs. Her brother introduced her to drugs, when they interviewed with Oprah. Cissy never said anything to her Son. The Drinkards had all kinds of alleged issues with drugs I hardly ever comment but you hit the nail on the head. Lastly, watching the 90's footage of Bobby...he is the King of R&B...lol

It is just bizarre that he is going through this whole new life of family, strength and love and no traces of that super celebrity marriage, but in documentaries. Hmmm, Whitney would not have gotten this Bobby because their relationship carried a different dynamic. Alicia is a different woman and provides a stability that Whitney was not able to due to her addiction and lifestyle. She couldn't demand Bobby be on time for example because she was not. She couldn't demand that he was clean from substances because she was not. As much as Whitney loved Bobby I'm sure she would be thankful for Alicia loving Bobby to life, health and positivity.

I got to meet Bobby Brown years ago when he was visiting his hometown and that was the day I gained enormous respect for him. He was so NOT LIKE the bad boy image of old. He was with a few friends and they were absolutely wonderful. Quiet, low-key, just enjoying a meal and each other's company. I'm so very happy that Bobby is doing so much better and is at peace with how his life has turned out. Blessings to the Browns.

@@robertchflynn, I stand corrected. No it doesn't but after that brief encounter, I've NEVER looked at him the same. Here's the rest of the story: It was a Sunday afternoon in January and I wanted some soul food. I went to a well-known restaurant and when I got there, Bobby and 3-4 of his buddies were standing outside, smoking cigarettes. When I walked up, they all spoke and one of them opened the door for me. Once inside, I ended up being seated in close proximity to where they'd been. When they re-entered the restaurant, they IMMEDIATELY removed their hats and returned to their table where they laughed and talked but not in a loud, or obnoxious, manner. There also was a couple at the restaurant and it was clear they were new parents. Their baby was just beginning to walk and I found myself watching Bobby as he watched that baby. Bobby had the sweetest, yet wistful and gentle, smile on his face and I just knew it was because he was reminiscing about when his babies were little and about how fast that time flies. This is why I've become a fan of the man he's become. And it's not that he wasn't that before. Rather, I think he now understands that it's okay to be what he's always been and I'm happy Alicia is walking with him through this new phase of his life.

The number one thing that makes Bobby Brown a great soul is that all his children knew each other and were very close! He loves his children…the crying he did at his daughter’s wedding at the table showed that this man has a heart of gold and pure love for his family! It’s great that Alicia is there to support him and his legacy can be viewed in a positive light!

This woman didn't love Whitney ....she was in the background for a long time waiting for Bobby, and did everything she could to keep them from getting back together. Great interview - I worked with BB's record conmpany in the early 90's on the international side and my boss dealt directly with Bobby and traveled with him. Great to see that he's grown up and has a strong and brilliant woman at his side.

I have to give credit to Alicia because she doesn't and didn't allow Bobby's shenanigans to start with 👏👏. He changes because he wanted to change; He's a grown ass man, mature and wise now. I think he should have married someone who wasn't famous like him or like Whitney because it was so clear that he suffered Whitney's stardom. That created jealousy and competition in his first marriage. Now he's with Alicia (a strong minded woman, not famous like him), he doesn't feel the competition, he finds peace and health. I wished Whitney found someone with a strong mind and personality like that 😪.

All the drugs and alcohol abuse over so many years with Whit but God kept him through ALLLLLL of that. He said it correctly.. GOD DOES NOT PUT MORE ON US.. THAN HE KNOW WE CAN BEAR. SO TRUE🙌🙌 Thank God for his beautiful wife Alicia 🙏 🖤. She had a lot to take on with Bobby and allllll the STUFF that came along with him but she has been there over 10 yrs of marriage and the world needs to put some 'RESPECT ' on that. Bobby and Mike Tyson both resemble each other. Age and life experiences has brought maturity and dignity to these two former bad boys. Both Bobby and Mike all lost a daughter each in very tragic circumstances but more importantly both are not looking back on their past lives with nostalgia but instead have chosen to concentrate on their new found love and families that they love so dearly. As much as some people hanker on and on about past glories and past notoriety we all must learn to live for today and tomorrow as both Bobby and Mike are doing. @ashley1994 Neglect meaning Bobby didn’t step up as a father should. Any responsible parent would’ve done more. That’s why 2 of his babies have passed on. Do you think Bobby was oblivious to the drugs his children were using? Or do you think he ignored it? Because if you believe Bobby, then please don’t have children. If you saw pictures of your children looking high and highly distressed, wouldn’t you do all you could to assist or atleast take them away to rehab?

@ashley1994 Bobbi Kristina was looking high on television, in interviews. Bobby Jr was looking a high mess everywhere he went, clearly on drugs. Both children started using hard drugs before the age of 18. The public knew his kids were on drugs, how Bobby claiming he didn’t know? Any responsible parent won’t watch their children struggle and watch them die, regardless of their ages. Whitney’s mother didn’t stop just because Whitney was an adult. If you can’t help your adult kids, I feel sorry for your kids. If you ever watched the show intervention, only way addicts get better is when parents or family get them help. Bobby was very responsible for their addiction and pretends he didn’t know so he won’t be questioned in their deaths.

Good Evening You're speaking Facts. Bobby and Whitney loved each other and they recorded a hit record together. It was mainly Nippy's mom and the church who wanted her to be the perfect woman, but Nippy wanted to be a star and a herself. Nippy's cousin Dionne Warwick has never bashed Bobby and she wrote in her memoirs that had Nippy and Bobby wouldn't have allowed people and their opinions interfere with their relationship and minded their own business they would have still been married. Cissy is still having issues accepting that her own son Michael got Nippy using drugs and that certain members of Nippy's family kept their daughter Kirssy away from him and tried to cause drama with Bobby and his kids from sitting together at Nippys funeral. If Brandy and Ray J was able to sit together then Bobby and his kids should have been allowed to sit together at his 1st wife's funeral
