A genuine Texas country music icon. Bobby was just a talented entertainer mainly fiddle but also guitar player. Believe that he played on TRuCountry TV series for years. He also played with the Ray Price band. It doesn't get any better. Sadly missed as one country music's true country music entertainer. Rest in Peace Bobby. Thank you for the memories.

Just learned of the passing of Bobby Flores. I'm sad to tears. A huge loss not just to family and friends but to all country music lovers. Bobby was one of the few keeping the real thing going, no "crossover" or sellout noise. It's a kick to the gut to lose him. The condolence I wish Bobby's survivors know is what I believe. We will meet again in some form where, as the old gospel song goes, "the soul of man never dies". Regards.

Met him a few times as my band was playing festivals in and around San Antonio, Texas. Great musician and super nice guy. May he rest in peace. He sure made sure there was a lot of love in San Antonio!!

Watched him as a kid growing up in San Antonio. After I retired the first time I was thrilled to see him show up at the Circle T in 08 for the Tru Country music festival. Like Jake Hooker he was old school and kept the tradition alive! Ray Price went peacefully to his grave knowing Bobby was there to honor all those who came before him and he never sold out! First heard of his passing on Hank FM when the Mayor or Country Music Joe Balinski announced it and was crushed! God Bless Bobby Flores. He was up there with Hank, Faron, Ray and Roy! The world hasn't yet realized how good he was!

Just awesome talent

I was extremely fortunate to see Bobby Flores with his Yellow Rose Band perform at the Heart of Texas Country Music Festival in Brady, TX on 24 March 2022. Coming from Scotland, it was a great privilege to hear a true country music legend lead an outstanding group of musicians. My wife marvelled at the synchronisation of his string section. I honestly didn't know before that night that he was a singer as well as a multi talented musician because I had only ever seen videos of him backing Ray Price, Heather Myles, Amber Digby, Jake Hooker etc. He will be very sadly missed especially on the West Texas Country music scene. RIP Bobby Flores.

I find him here on U Tube and just thought now that I am retired Mary and I could drive to Texas and see him sing in person. We talked about it and decided we would. Then I seen he had passed. Man what a shock. I have been fighting cancer myself and seen he passed 2 days after my birthday. Me and Mary's lost, but hay God and Jesus loves good country music too. May get to see and hear him someday soon. RIP
