WWL Radio’s Jeff Nowak and the Cajun Cannon Bobby Hebert break down what they saw at New Orleans Saints rookie minicamp, which included a first look at QB Spencer Rattler in a Saints jersey. We also saw rookie draft picks Bub Means, Taliese Fuaga and Khristian Boyd, while three others missed due to injuries.

Spencer is at an extreme advantage over the other quarterbacks. He's building chemistry and learning the new system at a completely different rate - an early ACTIVE start on it all. He'll be the franchise QB soon.

One of big steals of the draft. He can throw just as well or better than any college quarterback that was drafted ahead of him.

If Carr stink it up the first few weeks or get hurt at any point put Spencer in let him learn on the job and if it turns out to be solid trade Carr for watever some draft picks or something. Imagine having ur qb on a rookie contract and the players u can put around Rattler I mean I’m sure he can’t be any worse than Carr 😅

I know you guys are optimistic just don't over do it....this team is 8-8 at best right now. I told y'all last year after week 2 that we would suck for 3-5 years I meant it....we are in year 2....watch by week 3 fans will be looking for something to do on Sundays aside from church....Carr is crap and our line is suspect at best...our QB is egotistical or self centered , because he will go play half dead to not let the back play....that's a me first attitude not team first...so yeah this team has serious issues, aside for DE and Oline we lucky if we get 8-9 cause I really want to say 6-11 but it hurts coming out mouth...Who Dat!!

I can see Rattler getting that QB1 spot give it a season or 2 maybe sooner smart QB and fits the offense better than Carr just gotta find out i guess.

Before this season is over Spencer will start at least one game. He needs to make the most of that opportunity NFL is not patient.

They talk about Gary Kubiak like he was a great coach.....the guy was horrible...I hope his son don't suck as bad as his dad...Gary Kubiak was a terrible coach....his son was silver spooned into the NFL so let's hope and pray the son is nothing like his dad please
