I remember hearing the voice of Mr Helms when,as a pre teenage boy, I would listen to my little transistor radio in the middle of the night. This was in Boston in the 60's. I don't remember the call letters of the station , but it was brought by Plough Inc. Of course Jingle bell Rock lives on but to me Fraulein was Bobby's best.

The transistor radio had been a part of my teen-age years . I became a huge fan of Elvis Presley thru it , listening to his music in the wee hours of the night . I was in second year high school . When my tiny transistor broke , I could not wait for it to be fixed . When it got fixed , that was one of my happiest nights as I could listen to Elvis again ! I thank God for the good old transistor radios !

My Grandmother loved this song, she sand it, played the 45 to us when little and bring love to us when we visited her during Indian Residential school days. Her love, patience, teachings of a better heart n life made a big difference in our little lives. Love her for it. This song has special life for me.
