i been using bobart pro for a long time and to plane out a complex design like in this video in real life only takes about 5min-longer than this video is to complete the entire g-code program,,,only thing that can make it faster or slower to do is the speed of your computer,, but it really is super easy and quick,,back in the 80's-90's i never thought i could ever afford software to do anything like this,,bobart-pro is one of the best tools i ever bought! Just the opinion of a hobbiest !!!

How easy can this be done with a image file not a DXF

Easy, just vectorize it.

Is this the same as moulds? cavity and core?

Hi Karina, BobART can be used in mold making, but this video is more focused on emboss model creation for sign making.

I would check the help files for the list of files types we support for images. There are many, many image types we support.
