Bobcat E45 Digging Up Big Stump

Removing a very large stump in a corner of a property with the Bobcat E45. The bucket is a 24" for a size comparison. The shed you see is on the neighbors property by about a foot so I had no room to dig behind the stump. The caution tape is the other neighbors property. I was removing it to make way for a very large (15ft high, 100ft long) poured concrete retaining wall. I am just doing the excavation an eventual back fill for this job.

i like the pov from the cab more than these and more then the sped up ones as well, in general i like longer videos that are from the cab view, but good video regardless :D

Damn that's a bigass hole to make to remove a tree stump. Overkill dude. J/k, I'm researching grading for a home project

That was my favorite stump why you have to go and spoil it in take it out.

hi is it necessary to completely remove the stump with roots? couldn't the stump just be grinded?

This was a leased machine. We dont have it anymore. It was a good machine. We have Cats now. Much better machines. Look into a Cat 304e2 as well. Demo them both and see what one you like better.

Fast and smooth machine with lots of power. Much more comfortable and much more room in the cab. And much better made in my opinion.

Wow, that soil was pretty sandy looking, is that dry clay, or loose gravel of some kind?

robdoran287 Missing from the video was the music they were listening to, Khachaturian's Gayaneh Suite, "Sabre Dance". It makes all the difference when operating heavy equipment.
