Antifreeze is always good. I had a slow leak in the rad in my old car and it was on the long finger for months; and I just kept topping it up with water. Then one icy morning I started the car and heard some weird noises and got a smell of burning rubber. The water pump had frozen solid with just water in there, and it melted the fanbelt trying to spin on it!

I never had a problem starting them after changing fuel filter grand once you fill the filter...on another note did you ever change a fuel filter on a 1.7TD astra?? Loving the vids keep up the good work mate.

Can doing a full service on a mondeo mk4.5 cause any problems with a turbo. I just got my car from halfords after a major service in the way home the turbo is acting up.

I have 1 question for you. I have a 2.0 litre, but when I start it up it chugs like a Tug boat. It does exactly the same thing hot or cold. Just sits there chugging away. What do you think it is please? I've tried to look it up and people say different things. The main thing is that it might be the Cambelt Tensioner & Crankshaft Pulley Wheel? Could it be that? Would love it if you could help me as it's doing my head in. Many thanks.

Any chance you could do a video on the heater flaps? Mine groan for a good 30 sec - 1 min after I switch off and it's doing my head in! Common problem, by the looks of the forums.

Hi i was wondering if you could help me please. I have a 1.8 MK3 Mondeo and my brake pedal is really hard to press down. When i have my foot on the pedal and start the engine it relaxes as it should do and be pushed to the floor but soon as i take my foot off and put back on again it goes back to been really difficult to move without a lot of force. Do you have any idea whats going on? Peace

Hello mate, my tdci mk3 Mondeo has plenty of fuel in it, no air coming from fuel filter, trying to start it, it cranks and at the same time it produces small coughs but doesen't fire up, pressure pump seem to work, got fuel to all injectors, car worked perfect before I changed the fuel filter. Any thoughts?

hi mate, on my Mondeo (2002 diesel, 2.0) oil is coming out around the injectors at three cylinders. Will over filled pub oil cause this symptom? Also the engine smoke heavily allover. Thanks for anticipated response. Regards. - Oladimeji

Hi mate I am trying to identify a part on my Agila 1.2 design. It is a plastic pipe that sits in the side of the air filter box then flattens out towards the front grill underneath the bonnet , it has something to do with air intake. Can you help please?
