Here is a quick demo of the new Gittler Guitar. I have had it for a couple of days and its one of the coolest guitars I have ever played.
Hi everyone. My Gittler was stolen. The serial number is 008 or 012. It was taken without the arm for strap being attached. If you see it on sale please let know. I'm anxious to get it back. I offering a reward. Please help me find it! Thanks, Bob Gomez -added 09/20/18
Check out this other Gittler Guitar Demo video I did with my brother: • Gittler Guitar Review ...
And for the dedicated that want to see all the cool details like how to Change a String, how to use the OTB Box, Gittler Guard and some more playing watch this :34 minute version: • The Ultimate Gittler G...
Gittler Guitar Website: gittlerinstruments.com
Update 2-23-22 - I want to say that my guitar was never recovered. However, the staff at Gittler did everything they could to get me back in business. Russ and his team are a class act and the Gittler Guitar company is a top notch class act. Many thanks to all of them!!!

He's not the inventor however. They were invented by a guitar maker called Gittler at the end of the 70s. First commercially available in small numbers in 1978. The design was later sold to another company, if I remember correctly. Gittler himself, who died 2003, only made 60 of them himself. This newer titanium version is made since 2014.

With enough effects and/or EQ equipment, you can make just about anything sound good. However, wood does indeed effect tone. I always thought the wood/tone argument was bullshit until I bought a pine body strat with the exact same electronics as my alder body strat. I also have a couple Charvel’s, both with the same pickups, bridge and nut but one has an alder body and the other has an ash body. You can definitely hear the difference between the two. I’m not saying this metal guitar doesn’t sound awesome but wood does effect tone. Can you use effects and EQ to achieve the same tones from different woods? Sure, but denser wood will absorb less vibration than a lighter wood. That’s physics, not just an opinion.

@@dtom1642 The pickups detect change in magnetic field though, not air pressure.
@dtom1642
@dtom1642 3 жыл бұрын
@@lovely-shrubbery8578 I know but the strings will vibrate differently depending on how dense the object they are connected to on each end is. For example, if you take a hammer and hit a piece of wood, you feel less vibrations than if you were to hit a slab of concrete. The concrete absorbs less energy than the wood. This causes the hammer to vibrate more than it would when you hit the piece of wood. Generally, a guitar made out of mahogany with a hard tail will have more sustain than a guitar with a Floyd rose in a basswood body. This is because the mahogany, being a denser wood, absorbs less vibration resulting in more energy being transferred through the strings. This also allows the strings to have a slightly wider frequency range. In the basswood guitar with a floating trem, the lighter wood as well as the trem springs will absorb more energy meaning less energy in the vibration of the strings. The lighter wood will absorb more frequencies at a faster rate thus creating a different tone due to the strings vibrating differently over the pickups. It’s a similar concept to palm muting. You’re getting the same note but a different tone because your palm is absorbing a lot of the energy in the strings.
