Bob Marley & The Wailers do a live in-studio performance before performing live for @bbcradio2’s Old Grey Whistle Test. They perform "Stir It Up" and "Concrete Jungle" during this set. This is one of only 2 or 3 times where Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, and Bunny Wailer are captured on video performing together as The Wailers.

I am. I was a HUGE fan in my late teens in the 70's of Bob Marley, still am. I had all his albums in vinyl. Lol .Going through a tough, serious illness, and I'm here reminiscing. My soul feels better, lighter, listening to his music. He had such wisdom. It saddens me to see all the divisiveness in the world today. He was truly a force for good. ❤

Honestly ? KZfaq should disable the thumbs down button for this song. Just an incredible guitar solo at 2.34 by Peter Tosh, never heard a guitar played like that since and this was 51 years ago in 1973, which was the year my mum was born. Love the vibe. Love the song. No big crowd. No fancy stadium. Just jamming together.....WOW

Interestingly, that is only mostly true, because today I learned that they are singing to a backingtrack, prerecorded by producer Chris Blackwell, and the wah wah guitar is not Peter or Bob, but a legendary white guitarist from Alabama named Wayne Perkins, who had worked with many great artists. He is on 3 tracks of the Catch a Fire album, and this recording, and he did an amazing job. But yeah, all of The Wailers are gone now sadly :(

I suspect that that they half lipsynched it. The original lead guitar was played by The White Wailer (cause he was white - fact) and sounds eerily like that. If Peter managed to play it like that great, but otherwise credit to the white wailer I will name him in the next comment.

This great piece of Reggae Artwork which is fifty plus years old ❤ what a sound it still is. These guys have real rhythm, real passionate music 😂 I was seventeen growing up in Brixton London SW9 with my Ford 1600E motor with an eight track so I could drive and dance to this music. My Mother and Father were Irish catholics and even they adored this beat and song, bring back those days in Brockwell Park with those wonderful concerts. I love the way these guys dance and play to the song, happy young days 😂 ❤
