It is the start of the coarse fishing season, and to celebrate Bob and Paul head to the Norfolk Broads to fish in some of East Anglia's most historic and celebrated waterways. While there, Paul catches a Rudd X Bream hybrid.

Taken from Series 4 Episode 4 - It is the start of the coarse fishing season and to celebrate Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse head to the Norfolk Broads to fish in some of East Anglia's most historic and celebrated waterways. They're there to try for Rudd - but who knows what other species they might catch in these rivers, which are rich in flora and fauna?

Not usually my type of program but damn this is class! Two pals who've known each other for years and its so natural. I've loved Bob since hearing his insane stories on WILTY and the relationship with Paul is solid gold TV 👏👏

99.9% sure that's a Rudd/ Bream hybrid. Bottom lip is slightly up, where's a roach top lip slightly covers the bottom one. Also very golden in colour. Quality programme 👌🏻 👏🏻

The caveat to this is, John Bailey is a renowned angler in the UK . He's the "fishing" consultant for the show so really no need to guess the species unless you're after clicks and likes BBC 😉

Bob Mortimer sings The Stylistics! Love Bob, the autobiography was a lovely read. Paul I think is the most under-rated actor of his generation.

Bob appears to be a simple seedless roll while Paul is a more nuanced bread chock full of interesting bits.

Bob lived behind an electric sub station. That's why he uses an electric boat. Doesn't need a battery just holds the terminals in his hands and away they go.
