Thanks. There are a lot of good cncs out there now that are decently priced. When I got mine they were far and few in between. For what it is the bobs CNC is great especially for a beginner but depending on budget there are definitely some other great options. Hope ya find one that works out for ya

To be honest with ya I think the quantum Max would be more then suitable for what your wanting to do. The bigger router will also be more powerful then the one iv got. You will just have to make sure everything is tight and got good sharp bits and learn what speeds work best with what materials your using. I'm still figuring that out as well. I actually just had to replace my router for the 2nd time but the little router isn't really made to run like I run it I guess but again the quantum Max would be a great setup along with some of the better programs like the aspire or even Vcarve. Or there are some free ones like fusion 360 but Iv not messed with it enough to understand it n work it yet. Also I'd like to mention that Bobs does have excellent customer service and help answer questions anytime iv ever had issues. Also I love the old air cooled vws too.
