Looks like a good quality unit. I bought a similar design from Harbor Freight a couple of years ago. Definitely cheaper, and it won't start with any pressure. Mine will start disconnected, then you can screw it on the valve stem. I will definitely look into this T Max pump.

Hey mate can you attach a tire inflator attachment with a pull handle on this so you dont have to run round and turn the switch on and off all the time ?
@bodgitandleggitgarage8 жыл бұрын
hi mate you don't really have to turn this on and off all the time I was only doing it in the video so you can hear me this is a heavy duty one so can run for over 15 minutes without any problems

+bodgit and leggit garage Yeah its mainly just so once I've reached the desired pressure I dont have to then go to the front of the vehicle to turn the unit off. for example if im filling up my rear tires I'll then need to go to the front of the motor to turn it off but if using an air compressor gauge It would just block the air until the handle is pressed again.

+Peter Graham hi mate you would be able to put a switch on no problem to make it easier for your application

grate video and a grate compressor . .my old rusty rims leak all the time have to blow my tyres up every morning, do you know if it would be possible to run some wires from the battery safely into the van as if it was as convenient as the cigarette lighter compressors so I don't have to keep opening the bonnet especially when its raining from the heavens
@bodgitandleggitgarage7 жыл бұрын
John Forster the cigarette lighter will not be powerful enough to run the compressor the only proper way to do it which would be quite expensive is to run a set of heavy-duty cables direct from the battery to a Junction connector block run that somewhere inside the van and run the compressor of that
@johnforster19637 жыл бұрын
yeah I knew the cigarette socket would not be powerful enough but was thinking of a way as you just described that way I can just attach the compressor leads inside the van save lifting the bonnet . .
@bodgitandleggitgarage7 жыл бұрын
John Forster just make sure you get Heavy enough cable
@johnforster19637 жыл бұрын
thanks ill ask around make sure its safe and get the right equipment might get in touch with an auto electrician to rig something up
@bodgitandleggitgarage7 жыл бұрын
John Forster it's simple enough to do it yourself just get some battery cable and the connections to press on the end of them and the junction block that really is it it will take you longer feeding the wires through then it will to actually do the job
@padidivemaster19637 жыл бұрын
t max recommended turn the compressor on before connecting to the tire in order to reduce stress on the motor.
@bodgitandleggitgarage7 жыл бұрын
