I’m a baker, and when my buttercream gets to be that texture in my piping bag, I’ll take a warm towel and wrap the piping bag in it. Usually works to soften the buttercream after a short few minutes! I imagine this would do the same!

For cases like this, when you have too many, in your personal collection, or there is nothing wrong with something, but something minor, like a misplaced sticker, or something not wrong with the actual product, get creative. Make small care packages, for the homeless, donate them to shelters, or if you see someone in need. You could, also, do delivery driver care packages, with a drink, a snack, some of your slightly imperfect products, and a thank you note. You could, also, take items to first responders or hospital staff, like the nurses. The constant use of alcohol base hand sanitizer, and hand washing, leaves the skin chapped and raw. Some moisturizing products would help, a lot. Basically, think slightly out of the box, and you’ll find a way of not wasting product, while still helping. For example, I posted in my local Facebook group, that I needed to get rid of nice, icy for days, ice packs I get, because I get weekly IV treatments. I’ve been doing this for 5.5 years, so my family has plenty. I posted seeing if anyone wanted any. During the summers, the local food bank uses them for the homeless, and the local low income daycare & preschool, uses them to help keep snacks cool, while delivering them to the individual rooms. If you look, there is a way to not waste.

My advice would be put it in the mixer and spread a hot towel over it for about 15 mins whip it back up and it should be good as new

Try just having not much close to the piping tip so you have more control over the pressure and it will ensure that the piping bag won’t bust, since you’re pushing that much to come out of a smaller hole. If that makes sense.

It happened to me all the time when I was learning to make those. Pipe them out into a bowl, give them a second whip and you can pipe them into jars just like you normally would.

U could always make a discounted section on your website for jars that failed!!! That way people can purchase jars for less that they'd like to try & you can still sell them (if it's worth it!)

Squeezing near the top of the bag can also make it more difficult to push any product out and its much harder on the hands/wrists. Holding a smaller portion of the bag and gripping it closer to the piping tip should make it easier. This works for me all the time and I make cakes for a living 😊

I recommend useing cake icing bags, they are reuseable and they dont pop :D

Warm some additional butter, throw it all back into the blender adding in the additional melted butter to it. It doesn’t have to be a lot. Rewhip it just enough to get the consistency you want. I assume you don’t want to melt it back down to avoid warming up some of the oils or fragrance? Another option is add sugar to the mixture, turn it into a whipped sugar scrub. I instruct everyone I make butters for to apply in the shower, for my kids that hate the process of getting buttered up after bath time, it helps a lot being able to butter them up while wet. It also does WONDERS to your skin when you seal in the moisture when your skins wet. It’s the only way I butter up! Rinse the scrub up, you’re left with nice soft skin that’s already motioned once you dry off.

What if you put the body butter burrito back into the mixer? Wouldn’t the motion of the agitator cause friction and thus, heat? It would definitely soften it up again and then you could add in some more white body butter in the wrapping stage of the production, then pipe it into containers so it won’t be uniformly colored and you wouldn’t have to discard it.

You can put it in a warm place like on any blankets , chair hoodies or pillows you used just now and it is warm enough for it . Try it it always works . One time when my body butters get all smudge up because of my nails and i love the shape so much i put all of it in a pippin bag and re do it again and like yours my bag also had the same situation and i have ruined about 7 plastic bags 😅. My grandma suggested that i should put it in a blanket, chair or pillow that I used just now and for a long continuous time . I did what she said and it worked ❤

I just started using whipped body soaps and sugar scrubs so please no hate over these questions but are you supposed to use the whipped soap after you use a sugar scrub or are they meant to be used on there own (like sugar scrub one night and whipped soap a different night) and also is a whipped soap different from a body butter?
