Don't you hate it when your face starts to split itself apart into your deranged alter ego while your still conscious?

Staring in front of the shattered mirror, with her hoofs on her head, was Pinkie in a worrying stance. Her face stressed with guilt and worry, that she'll lose herself once more. It's been a week after the incident and she looked like a mess. "What's wrong with me?!?" She screamed as she banged her head on the broken mirror, the glass cuts though her, causing small cuts and blood everywhere. She didn't care of that, only cared for her own face as it switched to a hideous feature, that looks like her but in reality, it doesn't even act like her. Rather, it's a face of a murderer. She recalled on that fatal day, she spotted Fluttershy taking care of her animal friends in the forest, alone. She was being her self as usual, her happy stance and cheerful personality always outshine the sun. She stopped to chat with Fluttershy about the current events happening on ponyville, the court affairs and party events. It all seems normal in that day until Pinkie found herself saying, "Hey, do you want to see something special?" Fluttershy gently declined but Pinkie assured her that everything is fine and she really wanted to show her something privately. So Fluttershy decided to go, even though she feels something off about the ordeal. "We're here!" Pinkie said to her as they arrived at the place Pinkie pointed out before. She shuddered. It was a dark cave that she never seen before. The air around it was unnerving and creepy, making it seems something was off. Fluttershy immediately wanted to run away but Pinkie Pie turns around to face her, asking, "Where are you going, Fluttershy? Isn't this place look amazing?" "I-It do-does," she said, shaking with fear as she quietly retracing her steps. "I-I don't think th-that pla-place looks sa-safe-" Suddenly, Pinkie's appearance changed as she stared at the helpless pegasus with a crazy look on her eyes and said in a maniac voice. "It does looks safe, for your bones!" Fluttershy screamed as she tried to run away but the earth pony was no match for her, and as she dragged her back to the cave, she said faintly. "You-you're aren't Pink-Pinkie-" "Actually I'm just a guest, the owner isn't here yet. It won't be a matter of time for her to see you like this. I bet she'll freak out on the scenario." She replied as she crackled like a witch when dragging the crying pegasus on her final resting place. And she said the truth, for when Pinkie Pie woke up and saw what happened, she freaked out and was clouded with denial and guilt. She left the cave in tears and arrived at her house without anyone else seeing her, trying to remove any evidence of the crime. But still the smell is there despite all of her efforts to remove it. She didn't remember about Rarity getting killed as well. All she recalled is that she's blacked out while trying to attend the funeral three days later. And when she woke up...... She wished that she never did. "Such pain is a pleasure for my amusement." That voice, she heard it on her head, followed by some giggles. "WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?!?!" she screamed inside her head. "Why not? It was for my entertainment." It replied. "Did you called that entertainment?!?" She resorted back. "For delusional minds and sick fantasies, yes." "Of all the people you have chose to target from, you picked out my friends?" "Anyone can be my target, it's unfortunate that your friends are on it." The creature's face started to form as Pinkie forced to watch. It distorted itself to look like her, with a wide grin on it's face. "I'll get rid of you, I SWEAR!!!" "As much as you tried to kill me, darling, your efforts are just fruitless. After all, I won't allow my host to die you know." It said, mocking her in the process. "And besides, the show isn't over yet not until all actors have reached their limits." As Pinkie loses her vision, she heard it talking to her one last time, laughing. "Too bad you won't be there to see everything, including the ending. After all, it doesn't even matter. Not everything has a happy end."

I also had to split this into TWO 'cause it was too long, so the second part is in the replies. 0=v=0) 'The spell went wrong,' was the first thought Pinkie Pie had. The second thought was a question answered: what does tearing flesh sound like? It sounds like wet fruit leather being torn in two, like what Applejack did today, right before Pinkie went into Twilight's house for help. A soothing offering for her nerves. Pinkie had been becoming depressed more and more, hideous bouts of it pouncing on her. It used to be such a rare occurrence, so she just toughed them out with her friends for that day, letting Rarity play with her main, Spike telling her jokes, and Applejack sharing her snacks while fighting off an ever-hungry Rainbow Dash. She almost liked it when her skin turn gray and her main flopped over, because it meant the entire day would be spent in the presence of her friends, none willing to leave her alone. But then it started happening once every few months, then once every other month, then every month, and now at least one day out of the week is spent with her chest tight with hopelessness and dread. Out of nowhere, she would be crippled with terrifying numbness and she hated it. These occurrences, once accepted and almost welcomed, were now the only thing Pinkie could say she truly hated. Her friends were worried, the princesses were worried, her family was worried, and she was terrified. Every morning would start with ice in her chest, waiting for the numbness to settle in. Each afternoon would have her sitting down, looking at her hooves, waiting for them to turn gray. And then the night would end with her weeping into her pillow, scared to wake up and not want to get out of bed. Rinse, wash, repeat. Then Twilight, sweet Twilight, came over to her house. The pony's hair was wild and she had that *look* in her eye that told Pinkie that she had not been sleeping at all, crazed with trying to figure out how to solve a difficult equation. Since Twilight was at her house, Pinkie knew without the purple pony telling her that *she* was the equation, and that she had apparently been solved. It was simple. Twilight saw Pinkie's mood swings as two completely different ponies. Oil and water, joy and sadness. Just like oil and water, one wanted nothing to do with the other, and so never mixed, leading to her mood swings. And just like oil and water, they could be separated entirely. With a spell. As soon as Twilight told her the plan, Pinkie was apprehensive about it. Sure, the frequency of these bouts of depression were terrifying her, but it was mostly the frequency that was the problem. She had accepted this side of her, treating it like a little bird that needed attention once in a while. She sometimes just needed days that had her be sad for once, sad for things that she had missed out on, or what happened to her and her friends, and old fears that needed assurances. Those days were a well-needed break from the happy and smiling Pinkie Pie. She did not think she even had the energy to be herself every day of the year. The well has to have a bottom, doesn't it? Even wells sometimes need rainy days to be filled back up. Twilight insisted though, pushed to action by a need to be right and desperation to have her friend back. It was Pinkie's least favorite quality about her, if she were honest, but Pinkie tended to be patient with her friends' flaws. Applejack and Rainbow's need for approval, Rarity's vanity, Fluttershy's constant need for reassurance, and Twilight's insistence on being right when she got into one of *her* moods. And the best way to deal with Twilight's moods was to just go with the flow and let her do what she wanted. Let her talk, agree with a smile, and let her tinker with her magic. Pinkie could do that, then she could go back to her bed and hope that giving the little bird some more attention would stave off another bad day. This week had been a good week, as it was almost over and there had not been a single gray day. It was a good week, all things considered. Until Pinkie was crawling along the floor, Twilight and Spike's panicked, shrieking voices beating into her ears as the sound of ripping fruit leather echoed along the walls, followed by splatters of bodily fluids. Seconds, minutes, hours, did it even matter? Pain was pain to the mind, concentrated down to a few seconds, or spread out along great stretches of time, and Pinkie Pie was finding out the hard way just what true pain did to the psyche. She wished for 'other' side, the side that felt cold and numb, able to withstand pain that she usually wasn't able to handle on her good days. Whether it was because her 'other' side didn't care about herself didn't matter, she wanted sad Pinkie back, the one who would be able to withstand the onslaught of confusing and terrifying sensations she was being bombarded with. Her body split in two, but still one. The pain, but without the gore. She wanted to wear that blissful sadness and numbness like a cold, comforting blanket. "Should've thought about that." Her voice, but she couldn't speak, so how did-- "What have I done?" Twilight's. Soft and light, but tightened in horror. Spike wasn't speaking at all. "No. No, this wasn't suppose to happen. You're not suppose to... " "What?" Her voice said, but there was a deep quality to it, almost hissing out the words. "Not survive? Figured you could throw away all of the bad and keep the good? Twi, I don't think that's how it works, sweetie." Pinkie didn't like this, she didn't like talking to her friend like that. Sarcastically cruel. Uncaring. A slurping sound, the last of the stabbing pain finishing in her right back leg, and lights and colors swarmed back into her vision as she blinked her eyes opened. She did not even remember closing them to begin with. "Huh? What are you... " Part of Pinkie wasn't surprised, all the pieces coming together. Her eyes, unsaturated and cold, staring back at her? It was like looking in a mirror.

The subtle lining is pretty nice, even though I actually really liked the sharp contrast in line weight in the sketch. Your shading is amazing, you don't need me to tell you that, and I love, love love love, LOVE the expressions. (Expression singular? It's technically one face...) Breaking some rules of anatomy and exaggerating all the important features really was a great choice, it came out ah-mai-zing

Blitz, this is excellent, your art has never been as creepy as this one before. It reminded me of that creepy manga by Junji Ito, a girl who constantly grew out of parts of her body. I am amazed by your work

I actually really like the idea and Pinkie Pie and Pinkamena are two souls in one body. Pinkamena is trying to split off from Pinkie and become her own separate being. If Pinkamena succeeds, Pinkie may very well die. Pinkie adopts the whole party pony personality as a desperate way to keep herself together.

People, am I the only one who thinks that Blits' macabre arts would go PERFECT with the characters from J5A4's "When Demons Awake" comic? I would be fascinated to see what she does with Amdusias and so many other wonderful and twisted characters from said work.

I've thought visceral pinkie pie would be her almost rotten and a lot of gore but this it's already good enough to say that it's creepy amazing as ever bro, amazing!

Pinkie would giggle nervously hopping through the caves still trying to be her regular brave happy self but she was obviously afraid, very afraid…one moment she was hopping through pony ville next she was in the same caves…the same caves she knew had took her friends lives…”there’s nothing to be-afraid of…” *She stopped hopping landing her focus or what remained of it on a pile..a pile made up from her friends dead body’s…pinkie would feel a searing pain in the side of her face and body her body aches she would scream from the pain knowing her body was slowly being torn open from the side out came…pinkie pie? It was the creature it was somehow…inside her ripping her open from the side to escape its body slighty fused with the real pinkies making it even more agonizing. “Pinkie?!” Apple jack ran in after her following her screams but as apple jack ran into a wall she would notice something next to her “oh pinkie thank god your…” *She stopped staring at pinkie who was still crying out in pain and yet she was standing right there! It was no longer pinkie making the noises as her hollowed out skin of a body lay right next to Apple jack……the sounds of screams and cries of pain slowly morphed into a wicked laughter Stil coming from the figure who had now taken the full look of Pinkie pie…..
