Was he lost, following GPS (they can be funky when there’s bridges, etc). Was he driving at nighttime? Was he not familiar with the area, sick? I must say that if you are driving in an unfamiliar area and especially around water, bridges, trees, and its dark be very careful. And don't let it be raining with fog as it can be a nightmare! 🙏🏾🙏🏾

How many people have to die before these mother f🤬king city officials do more than put up road closure signs on inoperable bridges with space for motorists to drive thru. If he used GPS, which lead him to a closed road, that route should be removed/edited out or have alerts cautioning drivers. City officials leave construction debris, signs, etc, around long after repairs are completed, so some may proceed thru, especially when there is an opening. The city has to take some accountability for this as well. Posting road closure signs, but leave room for a vehicle to drive around or thru is doing the Bare Minimum. Where are the concrete barricades to block any entry.? Where are the signs leading up to the road closure that let drivers know prior that the road/bridge ahead is inoperable and will have to reroute. I don't ever suggest driving around road closure signs, but the city know that some do whether GPS leads them there or something else. Also, most suburban cities are extremely dark at night, and if you're not from or familiar with the area, that can have disastrous results. Either way, family must hire a lawyer. Notice how They MADE SURE TO PUT OUT HE DROVE AROUND SIGNS. Nonetheless, the city officials failed to do what they were capable of doing and should have done. They used the easiest and cheapest way to inform motorist when they should have also put up concrete barricades completely blocking entry, no driving thru or around. Prayers to this man's family and friends 🙏🏼 God is your strength.💐
