The police who saved this baby went on another call, a father shot and killed his children and then himself. I hope the officers are offered counseling and time off. They have to be devastated.

Uvalde PD needs to take notes from Sunrise PD! These are true heroes and a prime example of what respectable police officer's look like! They all ran towards the gunfire to save just 1 innocent child. Uvalde stood by while 2 teacher's and 19 children were executed. A hero is willing to risk thier life to save another's, and that's exactly what these LEO'S did. Only a soulless, heartless, and evil bieng could do this to a child, especially your own! My heart and healing prayers go out to Jackson and his family! May God bless them and lay his healing hands apon them!

This is absolutely horrible that the poor baby was the one that this domestic abuse almost killed. There was a history of domestic violence. This is why women should be mindful of who you are with, especially having a child or children with. There are always signs of someone becoming abusive from the beginning. The way they talk to you, the way they treat you or others, and the obvious, hitting you or grabbing you in some way. At the very first sign of these, don't stay and try to work it out, or say that maybe he is having a bad day, no, you get away from that person and stay away from them. Children are usually the ones that get hurt or killed in domestic violence. I hope and pray that the baby survives!🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

This situation was so horrific. But truly, these are some of the most earnest & compassionate group of first responders I’ve ever seen. These men said what they MEANT. So impactful. Baby Jackson, his brave momma, and their families are in my prayers. ❤

I just read he also shot her dog and she was able to convince him to let her take her dog to the veterinarian, but was unable to get help. Then she convinced him to let nearby construction workers to have them fix a window he broke and was able to call for help.

We all know why these situations are increasing. We have a large portion of the far right mentality emerging in our country as even woman's rights are being taken away from them. Im so happy to see this poor woman and her infant are now safe and will be together during the much needed recovery that'll be needed for their future. She's done the right thing. I was in a horrific domestic abusive relationship years ago. Sadly back then the law wasn't as helpful as it has become. Thankfully that help is changing. This law and fire enforcement should be proud of themselves. Anyone who is in a unhealthy situation needs to understand that, theres help and you need to get it. Seems like they had a good home and nice cars….as I always say, money doesn’t buy happiness. People always wish and pray for money and good finances. My husband and I work our butts off day in and day out! We always say how much better off we would be if we had a nice home and nicer things! But I have to say I need to be more grateful for our run down three bedroom two bath mobile home, because even tho the floors are caving in in some areas and the shower doesn’t work in our children bathroom so they have to use our….we are a happy loving beautiful healthy family of five and I thank God for each and every thing I have in my life! I have an amazing hard working LOVING man by my side that comes home to me every evening and doesn’t cheat in me r Kay a hand in me! Three beautiful loving teenage kids! 15, 17, and 19! Who are my absolute world! I’m truly blessed and yes I’d love to be able to provide us with a home that isn’t faking apart in places! But we have a roof over our heads and I’m grateful for that. God bless this family and may they find all the strength they need to get through this awful tragedy…God place your love around them!
