BOEING 747 DISAPPEARS IN ITS OWN SNOW CLOUD DURING DEPARTURE (4K)

This Boeing 747 of Magma Aviation disappeared in its own snow cloud while departing from runway 04R at Liege during snowy winter weather. Snow is quite rare in our area and after I realised there was snow in Liege I immediatly headed to the airport to film some planes in the snow. Have a look at the Magma B747 which taxied on a not fully cleaned taxiway. the outer engine was above the snow and you can see a small snow tornado in between the engines while the aircraft was taxiing to the runway. The aircraft is quite new in the fleet of Magma Aviation and it previously operated for JetOneX.
The reason why I drove to Liege that day was the Boeing 747 Classic from GeoSky but sadly the B747-200 was the first aircraft to depart at Liege after I arrived. When I arrived the freezing fog was very dense and I wasn` t even able to see the runway. I have never seen conditions like that before, because the sky above me was completly blue and the sun was shining but the freezing fog was still there and I couldn`t see the runway. When I first moved to Anchorage in summer 1974, my father worked at Ted Stevens airport, and I was there to witness 747's taking off. The airport hadn't yet expanded the width of the runways, so when the 747 rotated near the end of the runway, the outboard engines would stirrup the dirt and the Queen of the sky's would disappear into this cloud! 20 seconds later she'll raise majestically up out of that cloud! This effect was of course most pronounced when viewed from the end opposite of takeoff. No magic from a side view!
