The 'Queen of the Skies' performs over the Bay during San Francisco's Fleet Week 2017. This is probably the last time United will fly a 747-400 as part of Fleet Week.

I swear I saw this plane when we were driving to San Francisco to see the fleet week show, and it was like turning almost upside down and I was so scared cause I thought it was gonna crash on us! 😨

In every sense of the words; she is a magnificent flying piece of art. We used to wait for the 747’s to land at Newark airport and she was always referred to as here comes a “Queen “ in the group of people. The thundering thrust of her engines. The way her nose is tipped upwards as her rear wheels gently touch the runway. I would always feel a tear starting under my sunglasses.

I will never forget transferring to Everett for 1 year and working on the 47 after 2 years of the 57. The immense size of the tooling and working several levels after having on the floor and 1 level for the 757. I was in awe that entire venture.

Thank you, great footage! As a child I already was in awe of this majestic bird! I watched the final touchdown of KLM868 today at AMS airport and I will remain in awe for the rest of my life. What a beauty, gives me goosebumps over and over again. THANK YOU for your service QUEEN OF THE SKIES!!!

That was very nice...That aircraft is a great airplane. So nice to fly on my many years of flying at United. I am a Chicago based former Purser Flight Attendant. I will miss seeing her in the sky...For me the only thing that comes in second to her is the President's aircraft and 777-300s. Airplanes are my passion close to my heart....Thank you for showing this video clip.

I used to LOVE Fleet Week in San Francisco -- I worked in a high-rise and 30+ floors up, we looked DOWN on the Thunderbird Fighter-Jets below us, streaming low towards out over the Bay -- I did not see Queen of the Skies, 747-400, this was before 2010 when that United 747 first came so low over the GG Bridge, and I guess did every year or so after that -- what a thrill!! I miss seeing all the yachts and other boats out on the Bay that special time, and all the great activities during Fleet Week, there is no more beautiful Bay in the world than San Francisco Bay! The gorgeous 747 is STILL my favorite civilian aircraft!

I flew on the plane ✈️ 747 for 25 years as a flight attendant I always loved it when I stepped on the plane it was a beautiful plane ✈️ I will always miss the queen of the skies

Thank you very much for this excellent video! I did not know she was flying in the Fleet Week air show in SF until a friend told me later. She sure impressed everyone! A big bird like THAT flying so low and so slowly.... wow!! And both "dirty" (gear down) and clean (gear up)! Heck -- I was half expecting her to do a barrel roll!! Just kidding -- she is not designed for aerobatics -- darn! What a beautiful and elegant and classy aircraft! She is truly the Queen of the Skies! And pilots say they are easy and fun to fly. I wish they were still making 747-400s. I know, I know -- other aircraft are more efficient and use less fuel, but, still..... All hail, Queen of the Skies! You will soon be gone, but you will never, ever be forgotten.

Damn!!! That is one biggy in an airshow. I also heard on October 29th, British Airways are bringing their Boeing 747-400 back to San Diego International Airport. So that will be awesome!!! Also nice video!!!

No the Concorde is a way faster aircraft than the 747 that flight might of took 8 or 9 hours the Concorde will probably take 3.5 hours

Sad day, November 7, when United will fly its last commercial revenue 747 flight from SFO to HNL. The flight sold out in 2 hours. If I knew about it beforehand, I woud've bought a ticket and flown to SFO just to catch the flight back to Hawaii. Hopefully this last flight will land on runway 8L giving me a close view from my balcony of this historic flight. The first United 747 commercial flight in 1970 was from SFO to HNL. End of an Era.

@@brents223 Actually there are still a few airlines in the world that are flying the latest passenger version, the 747-8i. Lufthansa, Korean Air and a couple others will be flying theirs for at least another 10 years. Not sure how this pandemic effects that, but these airlines have not said anything about discontinuing them, while some have said, they will retire their A380s.

Hi. I was wondering what camera setting you used. I just got the ax-53 and upload a video in 4K 60fps, but it’s only available in 1080p.

Hi there. The AX-53 is not capable of recording 4K at 60 frames per second. It tops out at 4K 30fps. It can produce 1080p at 60 fps though. Double check your camcorder setting to ensure it is recording in 4K. With that sorted, double check your editing/rendering software to ensure it is outputting at 4K to KZfaq. Hope this helps!

Ciaran Regan ok thanks. I meant I created a movie in 60fps. But I uploaded a raw clip in 4K 30fps but it still didn’t show in 4K. I’ll double check the editing software. I have Final Cut Pro.
